Buffalo +1
I put this is in yesterday. Now Buf is favored but I still like it. I love to bet against the Rams, they're such a public team. The Bills may be able to gain an advantage with McGahee on that D, and the outdoor weather not being what the Rams are comfortable in.
Cin ML +170 for 1 unit
I have been impressed with the Steelers so far but Cin was winning when they played in Pit, they have played well at home. The Steelers are on the road for the second straight week and they came out sloppy last week. I like the spunk the Bengals have shown and I think it will be tough for a banged up Steeler squad to sweep two div teams in a row on the road.
At four o clock
Oak +4 for 1 unit
This will be the only time I have or will ever bet Oakland this year. Only because they had two straight road games and now the bye and they usually split with SD. SD always has a hard time in the black hole and they are due for a loss (I know people hate that expression) This is my ugly one, but I'm going with my gut.
Sea -10 (even) for 1 unit
Seattle will be glad to be back at home, where they usually cover (except against Car when they let them score with 1:45 left) and I believe their homefield advantage is strong enough and the Dolphins are bad enough to lay the double digits. Miami is not going to be looking forward to flying all the way up there to play these guys. I'm not worried about Hasselbeck because Dilfer is solid anyway. I'm more concerned with whether or not Wistrom on the D is healthy, I know Simmons is out.
At night:
Hou +3 2 units
At first I was unsure, but now that I look at it, I love Houston. I remember their first game ever on Sun night when they beat Dallas. Now they are back on ESPN and really are a half decent team. I hate going against Brett but I have had success going against him on the road in certain spots where he's had some really bad games. This line is begging you to take GB, while Houston will be glad to be back at home and the Packers D screwed me last time so I'm off their wagon. In fact, ever since they lost to the Falcons in the playoffs I've been off.
