The public got their ASSES handed to em last week.
4-9 on Sunday...and 5-9 overall with Philly winning and covering on Mon night.
What does this mean? Draw your own conclusions i guess. Just wanted to point it out.

Really I don't know what it means.
I don't know how many faves covered last week off hand either...
All I know is that i'm not allowing the public being all over a side to scare me off it this week. I think they may be due for a bounce back week of about 8-8 or 9-7.

Jacksonville was a fave and lost, Seattle and Minnesota won, but didn't cover.
Considering the Jets/Browns and Rams/Bills as pick em games, so those don't count either way.
But yes, almost all the faves won and covered today.

Also interesting that faves were 11-1 SU today (Buffalo opened as a dog and closed as a fave, and not sure where the Browns/Jets line opened or closed, but it was about a pick em, so i didn't include those)
Dogs will win SU in the last 2 games of the week though.
Gimme Houston and Kansas City

STIF, I got my ass handed to me on the early games, but pounded the late games and got it back, I know I got lucky as I went against public early and w/ public late??? I think you are right as the BOOKS need to get their money back on last 2 games(shit, they have been paying out since last sunday night, then big monday night, and now all day today) GL with your plays!

I think the wrong side is favored in both prime time games.
Houston is just as good as Green Bay. This one reminds me of Tennessee/Green Bay where public was nailing the shit out of GB and the books wouldn't move. The only thing that DID move in that game was the number behind Tennessee's score. Public will play Favre in any situation and at any number it seems...especially after they beat up on some teams that pretty much suck and appear to be a super bowl contender (which they are NOT).
Another interesting thing....Houston is in the AFC, and the AFC teams are WAY better (overall) than the NFC. Kinda like West vs East in NBA...
Chiefs way tough at Arrowhead, and the Patriots are still really beat up. Just cause they beat up the Bills last Sun night though, they are favored. And yes, I realize Priest Holmes is out...but I don't think it matters.
