IN MY OPINION:
Alabama/Auburn
This year, don't believe the hype. Don't believe Auburn will destroy Alabama. Interesting situation in the state of Alabama right now. Most Bama fans are expecting the worse, losing faith. Most Auburn fans are saying, "yeah, I'm sure it'll be a tough close game," but deep down they're thinking, "man we are going to beat Bama's brains in." Very few Aubs have come out- to others, besides their fellow Aubs- and said "we are going to kill Bama." With the exception of Bo, whom I have tremendous respect for, for his consistent emphasis on Auburn dominating, most Auburn fans are trying to hold their "gitty" attitudes about the game to themselves. I smell an upset brewing. Bama is undoubtedly hurt by injuries and so forth. Auburn is undoubtedly riding high with thoughts of the National Championship. Auburn is very healthy, poised and ready to destroy Bama, but this is the Iron Bowl. Throw the records out. While most Auburn fans are arguing about Auburn's BCS positioning, Bama is quietly preparing. All signs point to Bama losing big. Bama has never beat Auburn in Tuscaloosa, Bama is hurt, Bama is getting screwed by refs, Auburn is too powerful, Bama can't stop Auburn's backs, Auburn's D will dominate, the list goes on. Whatever the outcome, I will assure you that it will be exciting. I never bet on my own team... but it is time. BAMA (ML).
