Motivationally speaking, Clemson MUST win this game to become bowl eligible. However, South Carolina wants to avenge the embarassing loss they received last year. Well, it's now being reported that Spurrier will coach the Gamecocks next year if Holtz does not return (which seems to be the most likely scenario). The Carolina players will be unable to focus as they should, which will provide Clemson with a huge edge. This could get ugly in Death Valley. I don't like to see USC lose, but I don't like losing money, either.
