YTD 20-26 (-12.13 units)

Orlando Magic +1.5

Orlando seems to be playing great at home. They put a whippin on Dallas and the Lakers in their last 2 home games, and now they get Utah, who has gotten off to a hot start, but hasn't beaten anyone too impressive yet with the exception of Detroit, who seems to be reeling a bit with injuries right now. Wins over Denver twice, Golden St, LA Lakers, and Charlotte don't really impress me all that much.

Minnesota T'wolves +5

Detroit seems to be a team struggling right now. Minnesota played last night and beat up on Miami at home, but travelling from Minny to Detroit isn't really a big journey, so i don't look for any effects from that tonight. I feel I'm getting +5 points with the better team tonight, so I'll take it and look for what should be a close game. I also think that if Detroit had not won the NBA title last year, this line would be closer to a pick em.

Like 'em both but didn't have the balls to pull the trigger on Minny... that probably means you've got a definite winner!

Thanks guys

Gonna add a few more...

Denver Nuggets -5

Denver seems bad, but they did beat Minnesota and Detroit. All of their losses have come to good or at least decent teams. Toronto on the other hand has to be road weary and may be looking towards going home, as it seems they have been on the road the entire season so far. Much like LA last night, I look for Denver to pull away at some point in this one and win by DD on their home court.

Memphis Grizzlies +3

Memphis has a 2-5 record, but they are a far better team than that. Not sure what Portland is. They scored 60 @ NJ one night, and blew a huge lead to Toronto on their home floor. Memphis is the better team IMO however...and I'll take the points with a team needing a win to get moving.

Chicago Bulls +7

Either I'm completely lost, or somebody fell asleep at the wheel when they made this line. Chicago actually led Sacramento at the half last night. I watched that game, and with the exception of a cold streak in the 3rd qtr, Chicago actually looked like a really good team. This game could be really ugly, and I see no reason why Golden St should lay 7 points to anyone.

That should be about it....i think, lol

Good luck Stif. I did not see the Chicago game but agree with your analysis. This is a good team that will only get better as the season goes on..GS sucks from all I have seen...

Side note everyone on Orlando and the line is steady...think this is a trap...will see...GL

Actually Blue, I show 55% on Orlando and 45% on Utah, which really isn't much of a difference.

Line also moved from Orlando +2.5 at open down to +1.5 at game time....

So there's plenty of Joe Q's on Utah tonight too, lol

I hope I'm not kicking myself in the ass later for taking these 2. I liked em both, but couldn't pull the trigger. That's no fun though, lol, so what the hell....

NJ Nets +5
New Orleans Hornets +6

OK, rant time...

New Jersey and New Orleans SUCK, as in SUCK ASS...SMELLY CRUSTY ASS....yet I am stoopid enough to pick em anyway, after I knew not to. Nice fucking strategy stif. Picking the worst teams in the league and expecting them to stay within a few points, LMFAO...yeah right.

And then there's taking Denver and expecting them to not only win, but win by more than 6? LMFAO

I deserve to lose. :flush:

Somehow I knew the Chicago line looked too easy at +7. If it had not been for that stupid steal and 3 pointer at the halftime buzzer by golden st, i could have hedged that one on the 2H line....now I'm stuck with what looks like a colossal loser.

Well, if Memphis (up 23 late in the 3rd) can hold on I'll at least be 3-4 at worst. Better than the 1-6 or 2-5 I expected the way the early games all went to shit after looking good early.

Still pissed for taking New Joisey. I think their offense is slower than Air Force'

I hope so man....I wasn't watching the game till right before the half when Golden St scored 5 points in 4 seconds.

If I could manage to pull a 4-3 day out of that awful 1-3 start, I'd feel like I just won the lottery, lol

ARGH :bang: LOL

Golden St -2 is now juiced pretty good, so maybe the public will be wrong and Chicago will come back.

I really have no clue how the half went, cause I was sweating out the Denver game and paying no attention to Chicago.
