ytd 9-5 +10.4 units
Seattle -5 5 units: Not sold yet on Toronto, I'm thinking the win against Utah was more of a letdown. Seattle is very good at home and playing good ball.
NY Knicks -3.5 3 units: I'll lay 3.5 against a perennial horrible road team. They're still the clippers, theyre blowout win at Indiana is not enough for me to back them.
Memphis -9.5 3 units: It may seem like I take the grizz all the time but I really like them in this spot.

I'm not sure I agree with that Seattle pick. Toronto played a great game on Wednesday, and I think that win can only boost the teams confidence. Especially the bench, which was already playing well to begin with... furthermore, since the bench practically won the game vs. Utah on wednesday, the starters are probably gonna feel the presure to perform and bring there A game...
Just my 2 cents... ;)
GL Though!

Nice insight, I just think Seattle has more momentum at this point. Toronto looked great then got spanked against a not so good Sacramento, then wins in Utah ?????
add
Orlando -3 vs Kobe Bryant 2 units

I don't know. I got that gut feeling that Raptors are gonna pull this win out... They seem to be walking tall now after that win in Utah judging from interviews i've been watching, there is a buzz and smile on the face of these players which has been non-existant the past while...
I had a feeling that they would lose to Scaramento, and they did. The Raptors never play well against the Kings, and Tuesday was no exception as they brought there usual pitiful effort to ARCO arena...
But then again, like you've mentioned, they beat the Jazz, and the Jazz own the Raptors at home... Lucky win? Maybee, but I still feel it's very confidence boosting to the team...
The Sonics are sizziling at home going 3-0, and all sorts of winning streak seem to be coming to an end, so maybee this game will be no exception...
I don't know, but I still feel Raptors on this one... Guess we'll have to wait and see...
Best of luck on the Orlando pick...

:welcome: 9digit.
Nice to see another Toronto guy here.
I like the Raps here too. The starters are now pressured to come out playing well after sitting the 4th quarter. Vince has never had that happen to him since probably Junior high. Rose too. They don't want to be looking over their backs at Mopete & Murray. Bosh had a great game. Woods is solid. I think Seattle is a touch over-rated, and I'll take the points here. GL.
Nice to see a CFL fan here too. I won big on Sask +165 last week, and I'm taking the two dogs this week for a Toronto/Sask Grey Cup. (I'm going to the game!)
A.D.D. ....sorry for taking over your thread!

No problem, I appreciate all information. I am actually a little embarassed because I had no idea Toronto benched their starters at Utah in the fourth quarter. We'll see how this one plays out

I can't help but remember the Clippers of old. They were so bad for so long. BUT, they are 3-2 (2-1 on the road) AND, 2 of the 3 wins have been by 30 plus points. And those wins were against Seattle and Indiana. I do understand that doesn't make them the top of the class in the west, however, that shows me good "team" basketball is being played. The Knicks haven't showed that yet.
Just something to think about
GL with your plays.

ADD....they didn't so much "bench" the starters, it's just that the second unit was hot, and was outplaying Utah's first unit, so coach stuck with them, and they pulled it out. Vince and Jalen sat. It's almost like there are 2 units who are competing for time. Never seen this depth in Toronto.

Good job on Toronto, I guess it hurts they didn't get the win but they got the cover, hope you made some money...I thought Seattle had it going away but Toronto showed some guts coming back.
