as a avid follower of TAMU football (also let it be known I DO NOT BET on home town teams lines ...O/U are ok tho) for the last 10 yrs or so TAMU does not play well against TT and as a rule they play a level below what they can against TT...there secondary really really sucks and personally i see TT winning outright here..seen it yr in and yr out TT owns TAMU of late and with there secondary i dont see this changing..i think TAMU is one yr away from an awesome season tho...for those interested i think TT is a strong play ( but again i do not bet for or against home town teams ie TAMU/TEXANS ) just some input from what ive seen of my hometown AGS!!!

Wow, it's actually refreshing to see an ag without maroon glasses on!
I am worried about this game with the Aggies. This rivalry has really gotten heated in the last 5-10 years. It is maroon-out day in Aggieland, and your home is one of the most intimidating places to ever play in. I was lucky enough to be in person for the 2002 game, one of the greatest games in the history of the series.
CRumbie is a sorry QB (he might have been ok somewhere else, just not at Tech in this O). His mind just isnt fast enough for this O, and he runs like a friggin elephant.
Tech CANNOT stop a running QB. :bang: See Vince Young, Brad Smith, hell even the non-running QB for kansas state had a good day. Reggie will be a track star in this game. If Saldi is on the outside for Tech, Reggie will be good for at least 8 yds.
The bad news for you guys is your passing defense. Ranked in the 90's i believe, and now against a top 5 passing offense in the nation could spell disaster. It all should come down to whether you guys can get to CRumbie and get him rattled or not. This game will be told in the first 10 minutes of play. He gets rattled, and you guys score early, you win handily. CRumbie stays composed, and this thing is a shootout till the end!
I'm like you, I can't bet this game. Just going to open a cold one, sit back and enjoy the show (hopefully)!
My thoughts, TTU 31 TAMU 42 :puke:
The crowd, and CRumbie's mistakes are too much for us to overcome.

I like both of the write ups. I see this game like the one 2 years ago high scoring 48-49. The only chance my ags have to win this game is keep tech grounded. How do you get this done ball control Offense kepp TT on the bench. The bad part is that A&M does not have a ball control O. But TT has no chance of stopping reggie as the TT fan said but our secd. can not stop TT so it should be a shootout. TEXAS STYLE As long as the EXTRA POINTS are I see the ags pulling this out and even betting the number.
A&M 52 TT 49
A&M -2.5

I can imagine the Aggies are going to come out PISSED OFF after last weekend's fiasco. They let one slip away and will not let it happen again on their home turf. There is no question that TT will surely score points, probably quite a few, given A&M's suspect pass defense as golotb and SanPatricio mentioned. I really am taking the emotional factor and homefield advantage into account in this game. This is the best Aggie team in a while, and they are too good to let the season go down the drain. McNeal should run roughshod and get the Aggies back on track. Prediction: Texas A&M 38 Texas Tech 31.
Texas A&M -2.5 is my play.
P.S. Anyone have a # on the O/U? Anything under 65 looks like a pretty good play for the over.

As a close follower of the big 12 South I believe this is a game to bet on the O/U. The Stardust currently posts a 65 1/2 O/U.
I recommend the Over on the game and a slight lean to A & M for the cover.
