View Full Version : Auburn -VS- Georgia
Am I the only one in thinking that this line is way to LOW?
Auburn -4.5 Hell WE beat GA. at home by more than this spread..
Ga. is OVERATED!! AUBURN is the real deal.
Can anyone try to explain this line to me? Auburn looks like the best bet on the board.
What do you guys think?
I think Auburn -4.5

GA typically plays above themselves when they play AU that is why the low spread! I think we roll and will bet accordingly GL!!

all over Auburn ... not just because the way they have been dominating, but by the way Georgia doesnt show up in big games, as many games as David Greene has won, when it counts he doesnt seem to show up... Go Tigers!!

Yeah Bo that's the way I see it! It could get uglier than when you came to Knoxville. Anyway if we win out we'll see you in Atlanta. That's one I can wait on... unless it could be bittersweet for us. HUH!! With Clausen at the helm again. I can't see it happen.
Damnit! We get rid of one and look what we get back! What are our coaches thinking HELL LSU didn't want him. Why the FUCK should we!!
*waiting on the FULMER/SANDERS era to end...
GL GUYS!

All over Auburn. Went to the TN-AUB and OLE MISS-AUB game. There is no way to stop them. If they win out they better be in the title game and show the rest of the country the power of the SEC

I have been watching the Auburn games all year ... They should be #2 in BCS rankings and when they take it Georgia, we'll see them in the BCS championship!!!

I believe that UGA is much better than LSU. They destroyed us while Auburn won a game which they shouldn't have won. I lkie UGA with the moneyline. UGA has more talent than Auburn. And when they are up for games (like I think they will be) they can beat anybody in the country

Uga does not have more talent than Auburn. Do you think when Auburn gets up for games they can beat anyone in the country? The LSU games are irrelevant at this point. Nobody comes into our stadium when we are undefeated and pushes us around. The teams are close to even, but the home crowd is where the 5 point line comes in. You better believe were going to have Uga out coached and out manned. We are coming off a bye and one of the hottest teams in the nation and your telling me you are throwing your money on UGA? Here is where the money is headed :flush: UGA=:bang: They(UGA) are so over rated plus they are from a state where only choke artists come from. We are going to push Uga around from the first snap and make them pay for last years humbling loss.

Went to the OLE MISS/AUB game in AUB last year, and it was by far the best atmosphere I've been to for a big game. YES, better atmospher than in Baton Rouge for a night game

You tell'em Baseballer... But I disagree with one thing you said...
They are not even close to even and AUBURN wins this game BIG! I have ate my words before but until I have to, AUBURN is the best bet on the board.. They will see.
Take care and lets have a COLD one in Atlanta next month.:gulp:

AUBURN is this Year's LSU. This is the SEC Match-up of the Year, the game between the top two dogs in the SEC.
AUBURN wins the game, but the UNDER might be the play...

"top two dogs"? conference record says different.. should be a decent game though. But I think at the end Auburn wins easily..

I think the X factor here is the play of David Greene. Heres a QB who is in the top 5 all time for career victories...He is a great leader and pretty nice talent. However, he is going to have to play one, if not THE, best game of his career. I definitely think he is capable of playing a Heisman-type game and leading the Dawgs. Definitely a no play for me, but BOL to all on either side!

I think the line is shady and begging you to load up on Auburn! Be careful.....GA does have the ability to keep this a close game and possibly a win SU! That would make it more sweet than TN getting beat last week! LOL!
Sorry but i really can't see it being close.
Auburn rolls!

My $$$ is going to be on Auburn...I think the key is Campbell QB for Auburn...the running game is awsome everbody knows that...but if Campbell has a good game they will roll...
Good Luck Guys.
The way I see this is Auburn is so DEEP. If you will notice they are three four deep with players that can step up and play just about as good as the first teamers. They do allot of substitution and are always fresh. It will show come fourth Qtr.

Auburn wins by 2 touchdowns. This is my top play on the board as well. I am a Gator fan and if UGA gave up 211 yards rushing to us then what will they give up to Auburn? I think Auburn controls the clock with the running game and wins, easily covering.

BY FAR !! I'm on Auburn big!! Greene may be 15-1 as a starter away from home, but it's about to be 15-2. I see a score in the 27-17 range

Hack I'm with you on Auburn. I show that Auburn should win by 10. Geo D line wins games for them. And Pollack should not be as effective against Campbell. AU o-line will give Campbell enough time to show how accurate he is, example the Tenn game. Sorry Hack didn't mean to bring up old memories.

I think the spread is low because the past 2 years Georgia beat Auburn. Maybe because Georgia beat LSU 45-6 and Auburn beat them 10-9. Auburn wins by 14 points. I love this game have been on Auburn in the past weeks in fact it seems like the only game I get right. I haven't bet on Georgia all year and not starting now. If Georgia wins hats off to them, but my money is on Auburn. I have been to a game a few years back and it's a tough place to play.
GL with whatever you pick.

THE SPREAD IS SO LOW BECAUSE THE ODDSMAKERS THOUGHT (CORRECTLY) that the punters would say "ONLY 5" of course Auburn will cover 5! This will be a 3 point game. Of course I havent actually been to the future so this is only my prediction. If the line looks to good to be true it probably is. 5 is a shady openng line to begin with. Im taking Georgia and the points and Georgia moneyline.

I have been reading a lot of posts all over the web regarding this game. feel it will be a great one to watch. i don't know about auburn rolling over ga. i live in new orleans and graduated a while ago from lsu and would love to see aub get in champ game if they can over take ou. i feel it they win out, coming from sec they should be in.
i have seen lsu and tenn comparisons to this game.
lsu lost to aub by one and got killed by ga making ga the play.
tenn beat ga and au killed tenn making aub the play.
i feel that these games are irrelevant b/c can be used either way.
tenn and lsu in same boat, they go as the qb plays, which is shaky at best.
i have read a post re fla ran for over 200 yards on ga and no way they can stop aub. two diff systems in use. fla spreads the field with wrs and makes the running game easier when worried about the pass. i feel ga coming in knows the need to stop the run in order to have a chance and will try to make campbell beat them. at least that is what i would do.
i think mparris hit it correctly stating that greene is the x factor. if he plays to his potential ga can cover or win su.
i can not bet this game and goodluck to both sides on saturday.
just throw out past games, this is the biggest game for both sides this year. aub has champ game potential and ga fighting for bcs bowl game. this is the hardest game of the year for both teams and what happened w/ lsu and tenn and other teams does not matter. my gut says take which ever team gets the points in this one, because either of these great teams can win this game. i am not touching and goodluck to all w/ the balls to bet either way.

I think we should all keep Reggie Brown in our prayers. I'm glad we won, but that dangerous helment to helment hit put his career at risk. In the NFL that would been a big fine I believe. :bang:
The intensity was really high and there were big hits all game long........... I bet that 85 was pretty packed after the game with some not so happy customers. Better luck next year dawgs(YEA RIGHT).......... Do we deserve the Orange Bowl? No question. Now the real question is can we beat Alabama for the fifth straight time in T-town?
