:219 DETROIT +3EV Shows Detroit should be the favorite

221 SEATTLE PK-105 Shows Seattle should be the favorite

OK Dead Here are the figures:

Pittsburgh: Away Ratings (2-1): 30.706. (9) League Power Rankings Away Ratings: 0-1 19.425 League Power Rankings Overall (2-1): 32.253 (12)

Cleveland: Home Ratings (3-1): 36.972 (4) Plus Home Advantage: 12.850 (2). League Power Rankings Home Ratings: 2-0 43.003
League Power Rankings Overall (2-2): 33.144 (10)

Was shocked to see that the Dog Pound was worth almost 13 points.

Could be wrong but that's what the ratings are showing that Cleveland is strong at home and Pitts weak on the Road.

Saragin:

3 Pittsburgh Steelers = Overall Rating 26.55 7 1 0 SOS Rating 20.38( 18)

12 Cleveland Browns = Overall Rating 20.94 3 5 0 SOS Rating 23.23( 1) HOME ADVANTAGE= 2.84
Saragin is still saying Cleveland can cover.

I know we arent gonna run the table but I really like our chances to win this game....your numbers dont lie but I have to look beyond the numbers....our only loss(away in Baltimore) was ADPB.....Anno Domini Pre Ben....the lowly Ravens would of taken it on the chin had Ben been in a starting role in that game....we would be undefeated without a road loss....it appears our 1 loss on the road is driving your numbers....hypothetically....what do your numbers say if the men of steel had won that game and would be lossless on the road?? just curious....

You still got this number: League Power Rankings Overall (2-1): 32.253 (12) That is lower than Cleveland's that does include stats with games that included Big Ben.
Away Ratings (2-1): 30.706. and this rating that includes two games that Big Ben did. Most of the Pittsburgh players except Big Ben played in that only loss game againist Baltimore.

Im not saying the stats are all the time right. Things not 100 percent correct all the time. I have too look at it on a whole and If I start playing around with it then It dont work, if you know what I mean. I just throw up the plays it gives me and Im ahead so far so, that's all I can say about it.

her numbers also do not take into account the steelers and browns head to head meeting this year, which pittsburgh dominated. they also do not take into account that the "dog pound" has nowhere near as big of an effect on a team like pittsburgh when pittsburgh will have so many fans in the stands it will seem like a home game when they score we're talking a 2 hour distance between cities here. if you have ever been to a pitt vs. browns game in cleveland you would know this...

pittsburgh completely dominated the last game and it was ben's 2nd game as QB. if anything they are a much stronger team now. i don't expect any letdown for pitt this week.

you know its the fan...not the capper....in me that questions a call like that....

tipton....points well taken....i have never had the pleasure of seeing a browns/steelers game in cleveland but have seen a few in the burgh....I have several friends who will be there Sunday first hand though and they say the same thing...there will be a ton of steeler fans there....you know its funny but true...much like Dead Heads....Steeler fans are everywhere....but that isnt something that a computer spitout will compute.....hard to argue with the Queen's system as it is a proven winner....but like you said Queen....it isnt alway right....hopefully this will be an exception to the rule.....

Good Luck..Queen...I Think Pitt wins By 3..But Clev Gets the Cover..Just My 2 Cents Worth (Which is Not Much..LOL)..Now Guys Ya Got to Remember..A System is a System..You Can't Pick the Ones You Think are Better..For a System to Work You Play All Games that the System Spits Out..Always a Few Losers..But More Winners.. ...Now That being Said..I Like Alot of Them..BOL..Hammer em..!!

Dead...I See Pitt doing What New England Did Last Year...Going the Rest of the Way with only maybe 1 more Loss..Or None..Me Thinks.

Once again..BOL Queen...Hammer em..!!

yes, i like the rest of her games as well. a system is a system...

yeah, tons of steelers fans in clevleand and cincy. many years at cincy games when they were horrible i would say steelers fans outnumbered cincy fans. man, the dallas game this year so many steelers fans it was insane.

Queen,

When I crunch the numbers with Saragin it has BAL over NYJ. Do you use the pure points or overall rating? As I understand it, overall rating would already include SOS. Massey does have NYJ over BAL.

All the other picks look great. GL!

Playboy, Have not finished crunching the numbers on Saragin and the rest of the sites. This picks are from Another site that uses Home vs Away ratings. Will have picks up tomorrow on what all 4 agree on.

Tipton.... If you look at the way the Steelers played the last two weeks, they should go undefeated the rest of the season and straight through to the SuperBowl. However, sports don't work that way. Home field advantage is HUGE in sports. Thats how it got its name. Also, beating the same team twice in the NFL in the same season is NOT easy. Yes it happens, but it's not the norm. The Jets found that out this past Sunday. And my Patriots are going to have a very hard time with Buffalo this week. Pittsburg is a very good football team. BUT, they will lose 2 or 3 mores games this year. A 13-3 is a very successful one. If you look at the remaining games they have left, this week is a spot where they may have trouble. Stats or no stats, this is going to be a tough game and they have a very good chance of not winning, never mind covering.

Gl to what you play though

yes, i agree with you 100%, but i was trying to point out some faults in that system. you can't consider the home advantage as big with a cleveland vs. pitt game as you would a cleveland vs. pats game for instance. cleveland is 1.5 - 2 hours from pittsburgh. there are TONS and TONS of steelers fans at this game, i would say the crowd is about 60/40 or 70/30, much more than normal NFL games. that is what i was commenting on. its not nearly as big of a homefield advantage at this game as it would normally be just due to the proximity of the two cities and how close they are. if you have been to a pitt vs. brows game you would understand. there is nowhere near as much homefield advantage. if you are playing a system stay with it, i understand that.... but i do think in this case the system has variables to it that aren't accurate. i agree the steelers can lose this week and this will be a tough team, but if anything the steelers are a much better team now than they were when they first played the browns. ben is much much better, kendrell bell (pro bowl calibar linebacker) is back and playing. steelers have won their last 3 IN cleveland, steelers dominated the browns in their first meeting with a rookie QB in his 2nd game as a starter..... for people to claim that the steelers will lose outright by a bunch of points, this may be a hunch somebody has.... but there is absolutely no data to back this up, you could claim that pitt may not cover, but to think they will lose outright by alot of points ?

i think the reason PIT is only favored by 3.5 is because they are playing in the dog pound.

after all CLE gave PHI a hard time and only lost by 3.

that 's why the line is set exactly where it is

money is on CLE at the moment

if you bet PIT, buy the hook!!!
