K,
Like the NC state pick.. Even thought they are an inconsistent bunch, they have a great running back and great D. I stayed away from them last week against GT, have no idea how they lost that one at home but FSU has been bad on the road and are very confused at QB... I think the under is a good call as well. I am thinking +7 tease with the points and the under... BOL!!!

get em zeppelin. let me drop a little info that i used to help me with the play. recruiting in the state of florida is at a premium and former fsu asst coach amato can get a few of the elite players in this yrs crop.
lots of recruits amato needs to impress in order to nab a few with the #25 rated qb in the country already committed from the state
i will tell you this bro, i know for a fact florida state is looking forward to florida next weekend. that rivalry is fierce shark. i know there are many rivalry contest around the country that are intense and i may be biased here but for these two it gets no bigger now i know florida could be looking ahead too but they need the win for a 6-5 season and i dont remember a record like that since my brother was rooting for bob hewko when galen hall was their.lol like most other states these two teams have a boatload of in state talent on their teams and florida is a hot bed for high school talent and that is the reason ncst could pull off this win. chuck amato was with florida state when they were damn near invincable and was a key part of the recruiting process. he WANTS more of the talent pool down there and what better way to convince some of them to come to raliegh than to be able to say "hey we BEAT florida state last yr in this very stadium on national tv on prime time ........now son do you want to be a part of that feeling?" this game sets up next years improvements because if i am not mistaken nc st had a nice haul in their 2002-03 recruiting wars check this out bro
tidbit........QB Jay Davis -- He's the biggest factor for the Wolfpack's chances. Davis has been an enigma. He's the second-leading passer in the ACC with a 200.6 yard average and nine touchdowns. But he's also thrown 14 interceptions and has been prone to fumbling. He's not coming into this game with a jolt of confidence, either, but he's also a Floridian, growing up in Clearwater, and playing FSU will mean everything.
LB Pat Thomas -- The senior is one of the emotional leaders of N.C. State's defense. What's more, he grew up in Miami, as part of a large contingent of Florida prep stars on this team. He'll be jacked up to play.

K,
Excellent info and great perspective.. I am all over this one. FSU struggled against the Cuse and lost to no offense Maryland. Cuse has neither the D nor the O that NC State has. I generally steer clear of NC State for reasons I mentioned before but I like this play especially with an extra 7 on the board with a tease(like the SU as well).. Fairly hot right now, hope it keeps up. Bol brother...

Your right you dont know the rules...posting other web sites is a :nono: Interesting though that you dont keep a record here? The W/L record is the one that actually matters I could care less if you were plus units because you overloaded a play and are up units but cant pick your ass. No one here really cares how much $ you win or lose, but a record of posted wins and losses shows something intangible. Thanks in advance.

what sense does it make to say i am 45-31 when i am only up 13 units minus the squeeze? i keep units not w/l
by the way boknows, i know that brent fullwood was one of the best rbs to come from auburn and that he led the pack that the sec considers the best rb school in the sec, he was the original cadillac you dig it
to be honest bo i know you know everything but your attitude is kinda like having another dawg come piss in your yard on his daily walk. its cool bro i wont piss all over the place, just on the books.lol

so you care more about records than units won? boy and you have been at this for how long?
well i didnt even list my unit $ per play so it wasnt about money
if someone followed my every play and played them for the unit specified they would be up accordingly

Oh, God...here we go again.
Kalind, you have every right to be confident and proud of your picks...you are exhibiting maybe a little more confidence than necessary...its well, bordering on chest thumping. Not necessary here.
As for W-L record....Bo has been in this racket a long time. And a lot of people who take money management very seriously usually bet the same amount of money on every game. Thus, your W-L record is important. Like Bo said...you could be 10-15 and be up 20 units because you went "balls deep" on one play....well, that doesn't do any good to the guys who are betting the same amount on every game.
From my experience here...you gain respect one of three ways: 1) keeping track of an impressive W-L record so people can see how you're doing and choose whether they wish to tail you; 2) offer a lot of useful information, especially regarding a local team when you may be privy to info others across the country aren't, regardless of your record; and 3) being humble, respectful and friendly to everyone, regardless of your record. I choose to think of this forum as a team....we all have one goal in mind. This forum tries to further that goal.
My posted record here is crap...I don't even really keep track because I'm not a powerhouse capper...think its 16-14-1. But I try to share any info I may have on a local Ohio team (I add a lot of info on Xavier basketball and the A-10)...its just finding your niche and being respectful.
Oh...and luck is certainly important...I'd rather be a lucky winner than the best capper here and a loser....just MHO.
Good luck this weekend...hope you roll. But as this site has shown...newbies with attitudes don't fair well around here.
K.A.L.I.N.D.

so am i clueless or i havent been in the racket too long. i extend the same courtesy to all new posters at my other forums so i do understand cockiness and attitude but mr boknows came to me, i didnt go into his thread, i think he should have left it alone and not said anything at all
well if i am 80-66 and i am a dime bettor, the juice is eating me alive and i have to be very careful with my plays but if you are 13-55 and up 75 units wouldnt you rather be that guy? i know i would any day. people get caught up in records too much i think. its the gut big play that gets you over in this biz. i may not know what bo knows but i think i know enuff bro
not to be cocky here at all but i hate the books man, and i will study lines and teams til my eyes pop out of my skull . i am by no means a cocky guy and i wish all the very best of pickings at all times but just because i am new to posting here it doesnt give the beloved bo a right to tell me what he thinks of luck or my experience.
i may be in for a fallin on my face but i will fall knowing i went with what my system gives me and as for the luck thing............there is no such thing nigel, notta, zilch, absolutely no such thing. things happen the way they are supposed to not because some leprachaun jumped out of the bushes and yelled luck is home .lol things happen that we cant explain and i understand that but it was supposed to happen just to let us know that all things are possible

Okie Dokie, Kalind. You have your opinions and I have mine. But if you have a couple hundred laying on a basketball game and you have the favorite -2 and as the clock winds down the underdog hits a 60 foot three pointer over his head, with his back to the basket, to cause you to lose your cash....you'll think it was bad luck..plain and simple.
The reporters will ask the guy who hit the hail mary, "what are your feelings about your game winning miracle shot?" and he'll say..."it was luck...but I'll take it." He won't say....it wasn't luck...things happen for a reason.
I think any experienced gambler...be it the sports player or a card player....will tell you that luck is involved is certainly involved.
But you can keep on thinking we're all crazy.
GL. Sorry....just force of habit...no good luck to you...you don't want it or need it.

I see your point, however, the balls to the wall play can also break you and lead to trouble if you start going balls on every play to chase. Anyway. like the play tomorrow. hope it hits.

thnx bro but what i usually do is accumulate enuff units in order to llok for something special and hit it.
my two biggest plays this yr was a 10* loser on fresno st at boise and this weekend eastern michigan win in ot vs central mich at 7*
nothing more than 5 units every now and then but mostly 1 and 2 *'s

Spoonie, you are to uptight I was not by any means being un-courtious to you by telling you that luck is part of the game, and to get on board it can only help you. I think you need to check your ego my young friend, gambling is not an ego sport many different things go into finding a winner and one of those things is luck. I promise if you gamble long enough hoping for luck will be a credence of yours. Luck is a good thing whether you believe in it or not. It is the egocappers who are so good that they dont need it that I have to flip a 20spot to as I walk in the city so they can buy a can of dog food for dinner. When you post a thread you should expect that people might...a big might..come and read it and make a comment...so dont get your panties in a wad when the comment isnt what you wanted to hear. Now Good Luck to you and keep killing all the lines that you say you do. I liked the name Spoonie much better than your new one.

If you are a dime player and play each game at -110 odds, 80-66 would net you 7.4 units or $7400 in cash. Not bad.
If you are a $10 player and play each game at -110 odds, 80-66 would net you 7.4 units or $74 in cash.
Juice does not "eat you alive" just because you are or are not a larger player, and 55% at -110 is a 7.4 unit profit, no matter how much your "units" are in $$.
Just thought I'd point that out.

KALIND - I probably shouldn't be sticking my nose in here but are you the same KALIND on a particular site that records season long records of picks i.e. :ohman:
NCAA - Rank 900
145-131-2
52.54%
+450
Just curious - and if so when will you post your collegiate picks this week?

Kalind...
Man, I have played sports for 10 years. I absolutely agree that MOST the time, stats work. But i am sorry my friend LUCK does count. ANY GIVEN GAME!! Numbers are important.....but although i am up this year I still have to contribute a part of my success to the luck of teh day. If there was no bad luck i would be 100-0

I liked the name Spoonie much better than your new one.
who is spoonie? believe me bo i am no one else but KALIND and thats it. i am by no means someone that uses multiple ids for this because i am confident in my analysis of my plays whoever this spoonie character is he must have rubbed you guys the wrong way. i am all over thew net with my plays so really i dont care what you call me. just call me the line killa.lol
no offense bo but really i am only me, i am pretty sure on of you computer geniuses can track ip #'s or something cant you. as a matter of fact cant you guys look me up in the member section and track it? geez i didnt know you guys were the bodyguards of boknows.lol i guess everybody in here waits for bo to post before they know whether or not they have a winner.lol

thnx pimpin but i dont keep records bro because i play more games than i post. i am my own man and i do things my way. now for instance if you saw my nba post and i played the games str8 up i would be up really nice today wouldnt i? but if i played them for different unit amounts i would have to add and subtract the units won lost right. who cares what a record is as long as the money is in the bank thats all that matters. well pimpin if you have seen me around then i would hope you know i am kalind and no spoonie guy.

if you are talking about the fake money site that is me but there is no way i make those my plays. those are strictly leans til game day. i like to use that as a guage for what i actually play on game day. but that is me and i am i.lol
i really started something with this luck thing and you guys really love bo.lol
no offense but geez i didnt know bo was the only person around here that had balls enuff to make his own decisaions on a play. and the forum is following a guy that is 80-66?lmao
devildoll this isnt directed to u but the rest of the forum is having a ball with the luck thing, but thats cool you all just might as well stop cappin and give all your skills the credit too luck because luck should win 55% of the time right.lmao

That's the problem right there. You aren't coming in here to share info so everyone can benefit, and win. You are coming in here for a cock measuring contest. Trying to prove that you're the man. Well this forum is meant to share info in a friendly way, not to build up your worthless self esteem.

now for all you that gave me the run down this is the first negative post in my thread, and now that i am thinking about it you guys are dead wrong for what you have done to me.boohoo
this is what started it all and now i have no apologies at all and yes my schlong is large and i love it but that has nothing to do with it. i have a good play and i thought i would share it. i dont believe in luck so thats my signature so why does it matter to anyone? geez if everyone is entitled to their opinionss how can this guy tell me i am either a rookie or i dont know jack because i havent been at this long enuff?

Apparently Spoonie you do have some issues as you mentioned
"if everyone is entitled to their opinionss how can this guy tell me i am either a rookie or i dont know jack because i havent been at this long enuff?I can tell you that because it is an opinion??Second didnt I say "not that you are" what does that mean??Hmmmmmmmm...let me help you with the english language that means "not that you are" apparently you are having trouble reading between the lines. I am sorry if that offended you apparently it hit a little to close to home. There was nothing offensive about it, unless you found yourself clueless or very new at the game...which as you have said your not...so you need to slow your roll. What do you want with this forum anyway as you mentioned you are all over the net in every possible forum as K.A.L.I.N.D(aka Spoonie) spreading your wealth of knowledge ....go where you are loved! This place seems to be filled with to many issues for you. Or you can dry your eyes and move on. Either way I will do you the favor of not commenting in your thread...return the favor.

why is it, when boy's fight, they always talk about "penis" size? I believed in luck once, until I woke up and she looked like ran over kitty with a day of flies attacking.. I don't know who spoonie is, but he must have had some interesting threads to read..

Kalind - Dude you never needed more luck than you do tonite!!
IMO I have never seen people in this forum be as kind to your type as they have been with you!! I cant belive you havnt been run. Anyway you need this pick huge. I am deaf from all your chest thumping! In fact why dont you stake your luckless reputation on this one? NC ST loses and you go back to "spoonie land" What do you think.
Just so you know I actually like your pick, but how about a little humble pie. Its easier to digest humble pie than wolf down CROW!!
finally GOOD LUCK (Just take it)

well i missed the bet bro, i am not spoonie i repeat i am not spoonie or anybody else that didnt start off with the way you all would have liked but in all honesty bro i did not look to talk a little smack but it came, its over bro, all i want to do is kill the books thats it. no harm no foul. if what you all want is an apology then i cant do that, its not in me to apologize for something i dont feel wrong about. but i tell you what i will do, i wont do anything but post plays and leave. just want to chat a little and gain new perspectives on this cappin we do. once again i wish all the very best of pickings
