<b>Detroit/LA Clippers Under 185 1/2</b>


Detroit is coming off of 2 uncharacteristic games where the total reached 190. LA Clippers have gone 180, 175 their last 2.

I see a defensive battle that point spread wise is too close to call.

But I do think you will see a game like 90-85.

Detroit totals have averaged 182 and the Clippers totals have averaged 184. Both under 185 1/2.



<b>Denver Nuggets +8 1/2</b>


Utah has absolutely plastered 3 opponents in a row including blitzing these Nuggets on the road by 22.

I see a little bit of revenge coming here. The Nuggets are not as bad as they've played in 2 of their first 3 games. I think Denver gets the SU win tonight.

as a general rule, I don't mess with ML in the NBA. You can get yourself in a lot of trouble if it's on the favorite, and I'd personally rather take the points if I like the dog.

The NBA season is long and my goal is to sustain the season. I am hot right now, but that comes and goes.

IMO, ML on underdogs equate to "get rich quick" schemes.

I'd be more willing to take a "dog" ML if they were at home.


So, to answer your question, I would not take Denver ML tonight.

I work doing online stats for NCAA sporting events.

We have computer programs that log the stats in and shoot play-by-play information to the internet.

Did some research and under my firm belief that the Nuggets win this game straight up, it leads me to believe Carmelo goes off.


Give me a predicted total of Denver 98 Utah 94


That give me 192. I'll take it.
