Feeling it this week:
Sides:
KC -2.5 (bought .5 pt) over Bucs (**Update 2.5 UNITS)
KC has turned this ship around in convincing wins against Atl & Indy. 1, 130 yards and 101 points in the last two games sound OK? Bucs have scored about that in all their games! KC will make the playoffs. This offence only having to cover a FG is a joke. Too low to pass up. Thinking Priest runs wild again this week, and racks up 2 or 3 more TD's. Tampa offence mediocre at best. Tampa 1-3 off last 4 bye weeks. Chiefs won 4 of last 5 in series. I'd seriously think about playing this at 7, but I'm pig-in-shit happy about only laying 2.5.
NE +3 over Rams (**Update .5 UNITS)
Huge coaching mis-match. I can't see Belichek losing two in a row, especially to Martz's Rams. What have the Rams done to establish themselves as an upper-echelon team like NE? Close wins over shit teams (Zona, SF, Tampa) plus a lucky late win against a prevent D in Seattle? Losses (Atl, NO, MIAMI?). This team has had a cream-puff schedule, and has not looked like a solid overall team. Now they face the best coached team coming off a loss that ended a streak? NE will be up for this one, and will beat this over-rated Rams team. Only have to lay 2.5? I love it.
Teasers:
KC +4 over Bucs
NYG -2.5 over Bears
G-men are a much better team than this Bears squad. Krentzel is not taking them anywhere, and that Giants defence will make this guy's day a living hell. Giants offence clicking on all cylinders. Bears beat a bad SF team, but still rank 29th in overall offence. One of the Bears only decent weapons, Thomas Jones is out. Tiki romps Sunday. They'll probably cover the 9, but I'll play safe and be happy with only laying 2.5 points.
Cleveland +13.5 over Ravens
Zona +10 over Miami
Love this teaser. Getting HUGE points on both games AGAINST possibly the two worst offences in the NFL. Do you really think either of these teams can cover this kind of chalk?
First of all Cleveland. This is a good football team on both sides of the ball, as seen in the close game against Philly. I am betting on a close low scoring game with both teams establishing the run. Yeah, OK Lewis is back, but 13.5 points?? No way shit-for-brains Boller and this offence can put any big numbers on the board.
I also love making $ off of Miami. This is a very bad football team, and I will continue to play against them. No running game, and an inept QB in Fiedler who is unable to get their decent receivers the ball. Miamis offensive line was ripped a new A-hole by the Jets. And you give this team points?? Turnover ratio: Zona +8, Miami -14. Cards receivers Fitzgerald & Boldin finally healthy. Seau out for the year. I think Zona bounces back from a bad day in Buffalo, and might win this outright, but will definitely stay within 10!
(**Update - reducing unit play on NE because of Ty Law/Corey Dillon injuries, but the line moved all the way from NE-2 to NE +2.5, so I'll buy a .5 pt and keep it a play!)
GL iin Week 9!
