*The Jets beat Miami 17-9 in Week 4 and covered at -6. However, that was a Dolphins team that was missing Morris and Chambers who both had good games in their week 7 win.
*Miami leads the league in pass defense, giving up 143.6 yards a game, and is fourth in total defense
*The NYJ's Fourth receiver, Jonathan Carter, is their only wideout with a touchdown reception this year, and that came in the opener against Cincinnati.
*The Miami secondary hasn't allowed a 100-yard receiver in 17 games and a 300-yard passer in 21 games. (*note:Sam Madison is listed as questionable for the game with a sore groin but he is expected to play.)
*Jets QB Chad Pennington has a 69.2 completion percentage, second overall.
*Jets have the sixth-best rushing game (132.3 y/g); Dolphins have sixth-worst defense vs. rush (130.6 y/g)
when i started this write-up one book had the public hitting NY at 81% and the over at 84% &
sportsinsights had it at 72% and 70%.
As of now the book has 77% and 72% while insights has 67% and 70%
