Hi to everyone! I'm new here so gimmie a little slack if I post or do something stupid with my posts, k? But here's my scoop of the ice cream...lick if u wish:
UofM v. MSU @ the Big House-Historical Evidence:
{Lemmee tell you off the bat that I'm a MSU fan, but planning on going to grad school at UofM (go figure)}
Now, MSU hasn't won at the Big House in fourteen years, since the 1 point upset victory in 1990 (some contraversy about that too), prior to that it was in 1984. In the last 30 years, Michigan is 12-3 in the last 15 meetings at the Big House, and not only that, evey time Michigan beat MSU at home, it has been by more than 12pts, with the excepton of the 27-23 victory in 1980--FYI:when they win, they WIN. Michigan is 22-8 v. MSU since 1974.
Current Evidence:
Don't get me wrong, I love the green & white, but they're just too out matched here, and no way are the players gonna stand up to roar the Big House delivers(for above reasons). State is having one of their usual mediocre seasons at 4-3 with losses against very mediocre teams and only one decent win over Minn (which was a big win and the only thing I can see going for them right now), and Michigan is in the hunt for the Big Ten title.
Can coming off of a huge win against Minn at home gonna be enough for John L. Smith and the Spartans to win their biggest rivalry of the year against UofM at the Big House...?!!
I'm taking UofM on my biggest play this weekend
Please, any thoughts?
