Monday Night Football returns to Cincinnati (1-4 straight up, 0-5 against the spread) for the first time in 15 years as the Bengals play host to Denver tonight. Denver (5-1 SU, 2-2-2 ATS) has won four in a row to take command of the AFC West with a 1 1/2-game lead over surprising San Diego. Mike Shanahan's club is off an easy 31-3 win at Oakland. The spread cover was the first for the Broncos since Week 1. Reuben Droughns carried the load for Denver, rushing 38 times for 176 yards and one touchdown. The Bengals can expect to see a heavy dose of Droughns. Cincy's run defense is ranked 32nd in the NFL, good for dead last. As key as the running game has been to Denver's success, it has been Plummer's steady play that's been critical. Plummer has completed 58.2 percent of his throws for 1,328 yards, 10 touchdowns and just five interceptions. Denver's defense, which has allowed the following scoring outputs: 24, 7, 13, 13, 17 and 3. It ranks as the league's best in total defense, surrendering just 224.8 yards per game. This unit has been the cause of the sudden prevalence of 'unders' for Denver. The 'under' has compiled a money-making 4-1 record for the Broncos, including a 3-0 mark when they play on the road. As for the Bengals, they have seen the 'over' cash at a 3-2 clip, but the 'under' is 2-0 in their home games. Since barely scraping past a mediocre Miami team in Week 2, Cincy has dropped three consecutive games in double-digit fashion. Marvin Lewis' team is coming off a 34-17 clubbing at Cleveland as a three-point underdog. Carson Palmer has continued to struggle in his second season out of USC, throwing eight interceptions to just four touchdowns. Cincy has a banged-up secondary coming into this matchup. Safety Rogers Beckett (concussion) is "out" and CB Rashaud Bauman (Achilles) is "doubtful." Former Bronco Deltha O'Neal was traded to the Bengals during the off-season, and he'll get his chance to face a unit he practiced against for years. O'Neal was burned for a 99-yard touchdown pass last week by Cleveland's Jeff Garcia and Andre Davis. The Bengals have been the go-against team all year, failing to cover the first spread in five tries. They are the only winless team in the NFL versus the number. However, I don't see them getting a win ATS tonight either.

Give me the Broncos -6.5 and Under 43.5

GL ALL!
