Thanks Pip! Im a little nervous on the total because it keeps going up but these are two decent defenses who like to run the ball. Of course, that means that a shootout will likely happen, lol.

The second half scared me a bit but they hung on...woo hoo! First time this season that I won the first weekday play so I hope thats a good sign...we'll see

Posted Plays: 35-40-1 (-11 Units)

2 weekday games pending...may buy back the Wyoming game only because I thought I heard that someone vandalized the field at Colorado St with spray painting a big W....that's enough to fire up a team that should play a close game....we'll see though

Thanks Guys..GL with eveyrone's picks for the weekend! I really want to get out of this hole and Im thinking of adding a teaser for a small play just to try to help it out. I have a good feeling about the play but need a bit more convincing so I'll post in a few if Im going to add

Add:

3 Team, 10 pt Teaser (1 unit)

So. Florida +40
L'ville/SFla Ov 47.5
Wyo/CSU Ov 39

I dont feel comfortable with the total on the Louie game for some reason and I stated my feelings on the total in Bo's thread so with this tease, I feel more at ease

Im actually leaning towards Colorado St winning this game tonight but hopefully the trend of the visitor covering in this series holds up...a 3 pt CSU win would be fine, just as long as a lot of points are scored in both games

GL to everyone and I'll be starting my Saturday card shortly

Prank gives CSU added incentive
Jon Campbell

In a college era where riots and state trooper mace showers can flash across the television screen, it’s almost refreshing to see a good old fashioned prank. Just don’t tell that to some of the Colorado State Rams as they get set to host Wyoming on Friday.

It seems some Wyoming fans crept into Hughes Stadium in the wee hours of Wednesday morning and made their mark on Sunny Lubick Field with a chemical compound, leaving the letters “U” and “W” burned into the grass. According to the Rocky Mountain News the letters are about 75-high and 30-feet wide and are plainly visible from the press box level.

So far grounds personnel haven’t been able to do much to deter the effects of the chemical, and the letters are growing more prominent as time passes.

"Is it true? I thought it was just a rumor," CSU defensive end Patrick Goodpaster said. "It isn't classy, especially being a nationally televised game. I didn't know it was true, but yeah, that (ticks) me off."

Friday night’s Border War with Wyoming will be featured on ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m. ET and if the grounds crew can’t fix the turf in time, they’ll likely do something “cosmetic” like paint the field.

The stunt adds a little extra incentive for the fight for the Bronze Boot, a trophy that dates back to 1968 in this rivalry. Wyoming leads the series 19-17 since the introduction of the award, including a 35-28 win last season in a snow storm as 11 1/2–point underdogs.

Wyoming coach John Glenn has reportedly been flashing the Bronze Boot around since claiming it last season and the Rams seem to be more aggravated by that than the giant "UW" etched in their turf.

”I see all these pictures of their coach carrying it around," Goodpaster said. "It seems like he carries the boot with him wherever he goes. We need to get it back."
