I'm getting a little nervous about this game now. I see that the public is on Minny at like 80%!!!!! Minny is not a great road team and they barely pulled one out in overtime last week. If the public is sucking up Minnesota, why is the line not changing??? Would like to hear some thoughts on this game.

This is a write up by Ryan Stetson at Covers on tonights game.
New Orleans +3 ½vs. Minnesota

What a great Sunday Nighter. There’s nothing like closing out a solid day of football with a high-flying shootout.

It’s a simple equation, really. Both of these clubs can put up a ton of points and neither can stop anybody. Makes for a ton of points.

And up until the Vikings secondary imploded in the third quarter last week, I was figuring Mike Tice’s boys might really give it to New Orleans in Week 6.

But then David Carr chucked for 305 of Houston’s 410 passing yards in the second half and I changed my mind.

As it turns out, Minnesota’s secondary is really bad. Like worst in the NFL bad. The Vikes are allowing about 294 passing yards per game. And there doesn’t look to be many signs for improvement this week.

Aaron Brooks is due for a big day and he has a lot more weapons at his disposal than Carr had last week. The Saints are a sloppy team. They make too many mistakes and often end up shooting themselves in the foot. But they need this game and I think Deuce McAllister will be great. The Saints need this game in the worst way and they may just be able to pull it out.

Don’t be surprised if this one comes down to a late kick.
