Louisville +9.5 WINNER
Miami does not have the solid offense that is needed to blow a team away, especially a team like Louisville. Louisville is a real solid team this year and may be able to pull this one off as a straight up win, that may be wishful thinking though.
Winsoncin +7 2 units
Way too much respect for the Boilermakers here. A nice win against ND and now the lines are heavy for them, got to go the other way on this one. Wisconsin has a very solid defense and the Purdue defense hasnt had a real tough challenge as of yet. Purdue is a solid team, but Wisconsin can hang with anyone in the country.

Like the picks, DWD. I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on Wisky, but definitely am leaning towards them. I discuss the Wisky/Purdue game at length in the thread "Hey Boilerbacker..." below. I'm trying to get his take on this game as a boiler fan.
I have been very impressed with Wisky this year. They may be the best team in the Big 10....strong lines on both sides of the ball, a great running back, and a QB who is gaining confidence and playing well. I just can't decide how much of a factor the home field will be in this one.
That Purdue/Wisky game is clearly one of the best of the week.

1-0 +1 unit
think Louisville should have won that game though.

Virginia +3
Think FSU is really overrated and this is very similar to the Miami game IMO. Fsu with a good defense just like Miami, an unproven QB just like Miami and the offense is still yet to fully click. Virginia has their best chance tobeat FSU in a while and i believe that they do so tomorrow.

call it a hunch more than anything else. I dont like the TCU defense at all, they give up a ton of points. Both offenses are in sinc and able to score tons of points. UAB should put up around 40 on this TCU D.

thus far this weekend
2-0 + 2 units

Notre Dame -6
Been riding high on navy all year but think their weak schedule hurts them in htis game. Last year the line was 8. Notre dame was horrible last year and Navy was better than they are this year. This games are typically close, buti have to believe that Notre dame wins this one by at least 10.

thanks guys
BP-i have noproblem with the middies winning this one. I dont think they match up well with ND in this spot. With that being said I can see myself cheering for the middies at times in this game. I would love to see them win this one, but i juts dont see it happening

Boston College -8.5
Pitt is woeful, and I mean really woeful. BC should roll over this team. Pitt will have trouble moving the ball on this defense and i dont see Pitt being able to stop BC, even thouh BC isnt that great on offense.
may have a few later

at home against a average arkansas team. i believe that AUburn may be in the national championship game when this season is all said and done. they are such a solid running team and the backs run with such power is it really impressive. Normally i avoid these games with the higher lines because teams tend to get conservative when they have a big lead, well when audurn gets conservative they run the ball, and nobody can stop them when they do that. Auburn in a route.
