I have been eyeing this game for a while... Utah has made me serious money and this is a revenge game for them, their only revenge game as a matter of fact as New Mexico is the only team in the mountain west to beat Utah last year.
New Mexico has a very good run stuffing D, but watching them self destruct against Wash St. in week 1 showed me they still have a ways to go. Dontrelle Moore being out is huge. If you've seen what happened to Wisconsin's offense when A. Davis was hurt, I predict a similar effect on NM. Though good teams sometimes rally around an injury, Cole McKamey is not anywhere near as good as Alex Smith, he does not feel the rush well and he will be getting constant pressure tonight.
However, the line looks a little funny. The fact it has not moved. tells me some people are betting NM keeps it close and that certainly is a possibility. They are at home, and the Ute offense is not as consistent on the road against good D's. In their bowl game last year, they had problems moving the ball, but I think they will get it done here. This being a road game keeps me from loading up, but the revenge factor still still inspires me to play it strong.
