In the past couple of years the talent has really become even amongst most of the teams. I think that every team on the board to day has a shot at winning their game, so I think there will be a lot of close games and last second field goals today. In the first two weeks the favorites have been getting most of the action, and I think the lines are skewed in favor of the dogs. That being said, I like most of the dogs today.

Jax +6 Solid D, look for Leftwich to get the O going today.

Browns +3' The recent injuries for the Browns don't factor in and Cleveland wins by 4-7 points.

Bengals +2' Solid D against a pitiful Ravens O. Homefield advantage.

Texans +8 Carr has a big game today, Chiefs might start 0-3

Saints +6' This game scares me a little, but if the Saints D can create a few turnovers, look for a last minute drive from the saints to make some $$$$

Bears +11' Not the bears of the past 3 years. Look for them to control the running game.

Eagles -4' One of the top two teams so far this year. Look for McNabb to quiet the crowd early, and look for the Eagles D to put a lot of pressure on Harrington

Falcons -10 Little worried about a backdoor cover from the Cardinals, but I had a good day yesterday, and I'm letting it ride. Go Vick!

With you on Texans and Eagles, and I like the Saints at +6 1/2, although I'm not betting on them today. I'm just not too sure about Stecker.

Disagree on one game. I like the Titans -6. Too many people are jumping on the J'ville band wagon too early. I might be eating my words though if they win.

P.S. Sorry for the Bama play yesterday. I hope you took my Toledo pick to make up for it though.

GL to you Cimota7

Like Jax, Cleve, Cincy, Hou and Atlanta

Against you on the eagles though.

No opinion on the other 2, but your card looks solid.

Afternoon Picks:

Denver -9' Look for the Broncos to bounce back big against SD

GB +6 Favre picks apart the Indy Defense today. Look for a high scoring shootout. Last team to score wins.

Seattle -10 S. Alexander has a big day 100 yds and 3 TDs

Early Afternoon Games: 5-3

The Texans, Jags, Saints, and Bears were mighty nice to me this afternoon. If only Vick could have done anything other than fumble and throw interceptions the Falcons would have been money in the bank, but thats how the cookie crumbles. The Bengals and the Browns both forgot to bring any offense the games today, but hopefully we'll finish out this afternoon with 3 big wins.

Evening Picks:

Its been a good day today with a 7-4 record (ole Favre couldn't pull a miracle out), but it would have taken a miracle for the Pack's D to stop Mr. Manning. I've been on a roll today so I figure why stop now:

Steelers +2' Sure Miami has a great defense, but unless the D puts up about 3 TD's against the Steelers, I see Pittsburgh pulling this one out in a low scoring game.

Tampa Bay +3 Tampa's 0-2, but they have only given up 26 points in two games against a very good Seattle offense and a new and improved Redskins offense. Look for a lot of field goals in this one.
