I noticed that a bunch of guys had a rough Saturday this week in College football.... if you were one of them, you may be tempted to chase your losses and double up in the NFL or next weekend.... DON'T DO THAT.... take your medicine and live to bet another day.... REMEMBER, as bad of a day as you had, you have an equal probability of having that great of a day next weekend.... For example...

Two weeks ago, I had the worst day I've ever had in sports gambling.... I went 2-10 and lost over 19 units on one Saturday..... 19 units, to me, is a substantial amount of money, and as you can imagine, I entertained thoughts of doing everything from playing the rest of my $$ on one play in the NFL or even just quiting. I decided to relax and keep going the way I had with my money management system. And I'm lucky I did.... Yesterday, I went 10-2 and won over 16 units....

The moral of this story: DON'T chase losses.... DON'T break your money management rules.... DON'T give up..... and remember.... you have the same chance of going 0-10 as you do 10-0

Right on Skins!!! Nice comeback. If you manage money right, it's almost not even gambling.

Skins.. I totally agree, I did that two years ago and lost alot to a local and it really sucked.. Now if I lost a bunch ill just EAT it and pay up and get it back next week.. GREAT words of wisdom!

I totally agree.........the only thing I see that is a bit wrong here skins is that if most of your bankroll was sitting out there on only 10 losses you may want to consider dropping the size of your units per bet and increase the number of bets you take. This would maximize your potential profit and minimize your potential for disaster.

I mean which is better ........
wining 1000 bets at $150 or
winning 10,000 bets at $15

I can tell you which is safer for sure.

Congrats on the come back and I'm glad you didn't roll on one game!!! That could of been a disaster!!

Right on Skins.

I had a poor Saturday (not quite as bad as you, but I lost 5 units which is substantial to me when I'm playing each game for 1 unit) and then a not so great day Sunday either (lost about 3 units), but was able come back with a 6-1 Monday between NFL, MLB and WNBA combined and get it all back, using the same sized wagers I always do (1 and 2 units) so now despite those 2 bad days, I sit right where I did on Friday before having a bad weekend.

I know my situation wasn't as extreme as yours as far as # of units lost goes, but it does show another example of what you were saying. If i had gone bananas on Sunday and tried to make up Saturday's losses, I would have really been in the hole and would probably still be there.

This is a very important thing for people to know....and for those who do know it to remember when things are going rough.
