Today: 5-2. Too bad Lazio cannot maintain their lead until the final whistle. But, overall, I am very pleased especially with the Rangers and Nott. Forest win.

Giggs is it me or are you on the same page that Sunderland getting a 1/4 from Sheffield United look like a very solid bet. My luck i went to place it and 365 closed the handicaps for the day. I have to figure it will be more like a PK tomorrow.

You are right, coreyschucky. 1/4 is a value. I would have bet the Sunderland if the odds is still open, but I am afraid that odds won't be available anymore. Please let me know if it's open again. This is a tight match, but noone would know the outcome. But, I agree with you that with that odds, it's a value to try.

I am just curious why Bet365 open that kind of odds. Maybe, it's just a trap. Other bookers open the PK odds. I usually try to avoid this tricky odds. We'll see if they will still open that kind of odds or not. But, with PK odds, Sheff Utd are more favored.

Well when I went to place it the juice was at -133 which means most likely tomorrow it will be at a PK when they open it again in the morning. According to a few sites I use they gave Sunderland a 74% chance at the +1/4 with Sunderland being a 42% favorite just to win the game outright and a 32% chance at drawing the match. To me that was huge value and I'm pissed I missed it. Should be a tight game but I felt Sunderland should at worst come out with the draw. Oh well we'll see in the morning.

Yeah. I wonder why Bet365 close the line until the morning? Did you check the line this morning? When was it closed then?

Bet365 only opens there handicaps for certain times. I believe they close there handicap lines between 1:30-2:30 for the next days games. They reopen somewhere around 2- 3AM I believe but like most I'm not up at that time and I can't get to them till early AM.

Turned 25 last week. I bet on Man U Over today versus Fenerbachce. Looking for some goals I believe in that game. RVN and either Smith or Rooney up front with Ronaldo causing some major problems in the midfield they should certainly be good for a couple of goals.

No, Real Madrid dominated the game. Roma scored two goals from poor Madrid defense. But, both are great goal set-up. Madrid have more than 60% ball possession. Roma just sat at the back after leading two goals and that cost them. But, overall, Madrid is still Madrid. I don't believe they are in crisis with their galacticos. Great performance by Figo and R. Carlos today.

Giggs- What's your thoughts on tomorrow's Champions League. Thinking of hammering Arsenal vs Rosenborg. I think Arsenal just have too much talent for them. Still need to look at it more though.

By the way there is a good shot Rosenborg might be missing two important players in Strand and Berg for this game. Not sure if this is 100% true but from what I read at least 1 will be out for this game.

I'm not sure about Strand, but Berg is doubtful for tomorrow. However, Arsenal's Gilberto is injured and will not play tomorrow. Pires will play again. Sol Campbell will continue starting in the team again.

I'm not going to mess around with the Handicap as I'll go just for the straight win on that game as the -175 is sufficient with me for Arsenal. I like Chelsea and AC Milan as well but odds are tough for those games and handicaps are nothing to write home about but a 3 team parlay of Barcelona, AC Milan and Chelsea might be nice as it comes out to like +157 I think.
