I'm fairly new to capping, and I was wondering why a lot of people seem to be leaning to Detroit this weekend. Here are couple of my thoughts on this game.

1.

I know Detroit is 2-0 to start off, but one could argue that they haven't really played an eagles quality team.

2.

Eagles have won the last 3 meetings ATS.

I know that they haven't faced each other since 1998, but I don't see how Detroit can stop them. I think Dre Bly is out this week too and I don't know if he could stop T.O. either way.

I also believe that Roy Williams is playing very good for a rookie. Even so, Detroit isn't a high power offense like the eagles faced in the vikings. I would think Detroit would have a hard time getting points on the board.

Any feedback is welcome. I would like to hear why people are leaning hard on Detroit or if you think the eagles will roll.

GL to all and hopefully we can all cash in this weekend !!!

Well I think with the Eagles coming off a tough Monday night win, and the fact the game is in Detroit with the Lions off to a 2-0 start, thats why alot of people are on the Lions..

I mean I can see Detroit losing by a fg, but im taking the Eagles...It may be a letdown game but oh well, gimme them..

IMO Philadelphia squeaks out a win, but makes the public dissapointed as they don't cover.

the line has baffled many people, and the main reason people are taking detroit is because the line looks like a trap. Im sure if it were philly -7 or what not no one would question it, but its not the case, at least not when it opened.

only thing to keep in mind is that its philly's first road game. But i dont think past trends should apply in thsi matchup, u have something that the Eagles have been lacking forever, a star WR.

one team will remain undefeated and go 3-0, and i highly doubt it will be detroit. I feel philly wins by double digits, though not many would agree with me here.

good luck either way!

Tell you the truth my power shows the Eagles covering about a touchdown........the reason I like DET is two part.......

Young team wanting nothing more to knock off the giant.......So the heart will keep them fighting.....

Also simply because it's the least likely thing to happen.....I'm seeing this as one of those shocker games.......everyone walks away from this one going how the hell did the Lions pull that off.........I can just picture the highlight reels on espn.

Remember this is only one game.......there is just as good of chance of that happening as the Eagles stroll into town and take the W with ease...........but Eagles might forget for a few minutes that they are playing a professional ball club with one hell of a coach.
