This is a business, and until I stop playing the games on TV and start treating this like a business, I am never going to get over on the man.

I keep telling myself to play the best games, and not the TV games (I don't have Sunday Ticket)...work for the cable company....BOOO).....things will never change....The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results....

Oh well, at least I recognize my shortcomings....It's amazing I'm still ahead this year ytd!....Could be more with a little discipline!

OK, here we go!

-----3 Star Game of the Week:------
NY GIANTS (+3.5) Washington

My line is baiting me with the extra hook for free.....I never change my mind on a half point, but Tom Coughlin is not going to let this team play defense like they did last week. Will Allen looked like a Flour Seive last week, but he's not facing Terrell Owens this week. Kurt Warner will enjoy a little more dump off action to Tiki, keeping the wild blitzing Washington defense on their toes....Look for Mr Warner to make a move forward this week with a nice game management and frequent use of his safety valves....Tiki "Fumble" Barber holds on to the ball and Washington will have fits stopping the Giants. I see a see-saw battle, with the HOME DOG winning this game outright, pulling away by 2 scores late in the 3rd quarter. Clinton Portis will go for about 120, might not have as much fus this week though, as the Giants should congest the middle of the field with 7 or 8.

Warner to Toomer, Hilliard and the tight ends, with those safety dumps to Tiki, and the passing game should keep this game high scoring and in the hands of the home team

NY GIANTS 27, Washington 17

------2 Stars------
Denver (-3) Jacksonville

Road Fav, contradicting the play above....Jacksonville, the SUAVE pick for many, along with Seattle to make strides this year, still lack the punch to keep up with high octane offenses...I see Jacksonville holding Q-Griff in the first half, frustrating the young, diminutive rb with just 40 yards in the first half. But remember people, this is a Jacksonville team that is young and inexperienced, with the exception of an oft-injured Fred Taylor and a slower Jimmy Smith. If Denver were to get out by 10 points early, can Jax catch up? Do they have the weapons at QB and WR to move the ball up and down the field? I say no. Denver can explode at any time...Plummer can avoid mistakes and manage his team to a comfy lead and ultimatey win by using patience, patience, patience...This is not the KC defense, but this is not Baltimore either. Jacksonvile will grow up this year, but not this week. Denver wins in a low to mid scoring game.

Denver 20, Jacksonville 10

------2 Stars------
St. Louis (+2.5) Atlanta

The greatest show on turf goes into their "other home field", where they have had similar success to their current 18 game home turf winning streak. Michael Vick would need to have the game of his career to upset my Rams, and although I don't like ot take this Rams team, I cannot understand how they are an underdog to a team like Atlanta. St. Louis put up almost 500 yards of offense against Arizona, only to turn the ball over 3 times inside the Arizona 20. I see The Rams holding on the the football, I see Martz giving the ball to a guy named Marshall OFTEN....And I see ball control offense, with a BALANCED attack by Mr Martz. This guy is being chastised by the St Louis fans and media for his coaching ineptitiude? Why, you ask? I am puzzled...I think maybe because he is the winningest coach in the history of the NFL at this point in his career? I don't get it...All he has done is win about 70% of the games he has coached!
St. Louis's defense is good enough tp hang with Vick, and as long as they can elimiate the threat of Peerless Price, the Rams should have no problem stacking up against the Falcons best running back, Michael Vick...Rams in a surprsingly low scoring game.

Rams 20, Falcons 16

------2 Stars-------
Buccaneers (+2.5) Seattle

Tampa will show up at home, and Seattle will not show up on the road twice in two weeks....If they prove me wrong, they would have as many road wins in the last 2 weeks as they have had in theie last year and a half. not going to happen. They will be softened at the RB position, and Hassleback will make mistakes trying to throw the intermediate pass in a hostile environment. Seattle has trouble moving the ball. Mark Clayton will prove to be worth his weight in gold, as Tampa REALLY made a nice draft choice here...Looks even better after that idiot Mccardel doing whatever he is doing, and the injuries at WR. Tampa frustrates the Seatlle offense, and Tampa wins at home.

Tampa 20, Seattle 13
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I would stay away from Indy/Tennesee, I would NOT bet the Patriots in Arizona, and I would NOT Like the Chiefs, Pittsburgh, or Packers...I feel an underdog week this week.

Good luck with your plays!

And just as a side bar, someone go and research the outcomes of the 2.5 point underdog....It's pretty interseting!
