Will add my updated record tomorrow. Capped the early games for tomorrow tonight and want to get my plays in now in case I can't get home in time tomorrow.

Phils -155
Pirates +155

1 unit each

Figure I have the pitching advantage in these games if nothing else. Phils are about done now in the WC race, but losing 3 straight to equally done Cincinnati still seems unlikely, and Perez is just wow...and should be able to shut down a struggling Cubs offense, and is well worth the +155 dog price here IMO.

I had high hopes for Philly, but, much like last year Philly is fading at precisely the time where they need to "do or die"!
They could'nt beat Florida when they were beatable, and, I'm afraid the same holds true in their efforts against Ciinci. They could'nt beat Acevado, that speaks volumes, and as for Lidle's performence yesterday, one can only assume that he gave up those early runs for a reason. That being said, either way this is a very dangerous play, but then again... thats why they call it gambling, right???
GOOD LUCK, I hope you cash!!!:beer2:

Well, won't complain about breaking even. Phillies rolled the Reds so that was nice....and Pitts actually gave me some hope there for a while until the end. Ah well..

Red Sox/TB over 10.5 (-105) 2 units

Last night Tampa did their part in getting the over against Pedro, but Boston let me down...I really don't see that happening again tonight. Brazleton is not very good on the road, and the ump (Jim Joyce) is slightly an over guy as well. I think Boston breaks the sticks out tonight and avenges the loss they took last night by taking it to young Mr Brazleton.

Mets/Braves under 8 (+100) 2 units

Leiter is a great pitcher. Braves bats are struggling. Braves are 10-4-1 to the under their last 15 games.

Thomson isn't real bad either, and should be able to take care of the crappy Mets line up, who are 8-4 to the under in their last 12.

Leiter is 8-2 lifetime to the under vs Atlanta.

Under is 7-2-1 the last 10 meetings between these 2 teams.

Shea is a pitchers park...

My favorite part of this play though is the umpire, and he is what made me upgrade it to 2 units. Home plate ump Brian O'Nora is 7-2 to the under in his last 9 BHP....but more than that, I had the displeasure of taking an over a few weeks ago with this guy behind the plate and watching him call strike after strike and ring guys up at an alarming rate. Needless to say my over wager didn't even come close to the posted total that day....and i don't think this one will either.

Tigers +115 1 unit

Still kinda scratching my head as to why Detroit is once again an underdog tonight....Didn't get it last night, and they crushed the Tribe, and I don't get it tonight, and I think they will roll over the Tribe yet again tonight.

2 team parlay

D'Backs
Halos

1 unit to win 1.29 units or +129

Basically thinking here that Anaheim should rebound and win tonight, so I'm using them in the 2 team parlay to get AZ with R. Johnson at +129 odds, cause there's no way in hell i'm laying -175 or anything close to it with Arizona, even though i think they have a plenty good shot at the win tonight to justify taking them at +129.

Just realized I forgot to add my record today.

Yesterday 2-4-1 (-1.95 units)
YTD 444-406-11 (+19.34 units)
Since ASB 189-143-2 (+43.61 units)

Also adding 2 more plays...

Padres +115
Padres/Dodgers over 8.5 -110

I am basically fading Wilson Alvarez who has looked awful almost every time he has started recently. Padres hit well on the road in general, and also very good against lefties. SD needs this game more than LA with the Flubs winning this afternoon and SF on their way to a win.

As far as the total...both of these teams have been playing a nice amount of overs lately, and the home plate ump seems from his numbers to favor the over as well according to his recent numbers. Adding in Alvarez's struggles as a starter and being pretty sure Lawrence isn't gonna pitch a shut out, I like this total to reach 9 or more.

1 unit each

GL the rest of the night guys :yeah:

Well Anaheim screwed me on the parlay by getting shut out on 2 hits by Ryan Franklin of all people...who has all of 4 wins this year now. Go figure.

Blaine Neal should be traded to Toronto. He'd fit right in out in their bullpen with Lightenturd, Frazor and company....he SUCKS. He's had 2 outings vs LA now this series...i believe he faced 7 batters, and retired ZERO, giving up 3 runs in the process. Nice move even bringing him in the game in the middle of a wild card race....TWICE. At least he didn't cost me anything tonight.

Well, still a good day overall. 5-3 (+4.15 units)

YTD 449-409-11 (+23.49 units)
Since ASB 194-146-2 (+47.76 units)
