Baltimore relies on Jamal Lewis and controlling clock more than any other team in the NFL. The Raven's defense also matches up extremely well with what Cleveland is likely to try and establish today. Garcia's lack of arm strength is well documented so look for quite a few intermediate routes against which the tremendous LBs of Baltimore should be successful. Look for Cleveland to play it conservative on offense to avoid turnovers against Baltimore, while Baltimore will undoubtably follow last season's blueprint for success vs. Cleveland and run the ball all afternoon long.

We have watched with interest the Falcons offense this season as Vick has struggled mightily and nightmares of Kordell Stewart followed. "Slash" was the rage in the NFL for a season and a half until it was decided he tried to become something he wasn't. Sounds like the situation here in Atlanta. Vick faces a very active front 7 in San Fran who definitely have the players to contain him. Atlanta has key injuries on "D" and while these Niners won't conjure up memories of the glory days, this year's edition with an effective rushing attack and solid "D" they should ride on the emotion at home in Week 1 for a win.

The Steelers offense was very impressive this preseason with the offensive line finally healthy and fresh legs in the backfield. At the same time, the defense looked like it will go through some growing pains with its young, revamped secondary. They struggled to get off the field on third downs. Oakland showed a healthing Gannon can be very effective, and Norv Turner always produces effecient offenses that are able to mix the air and ground games effectively. Pittsburgh's numerous weapons will have big days, but Oakland should be able to play score for score with them.
