What does everyone think about this game? I see Georgia winning this game by about 3 td's. I don't think SC gonna put up much of a fight. Any input on this game would be great.

not gonna touch this with a mile long pole....columbia will be in a frenzy and they play georgia tough...last 4 in sc have been under games and my cocks have covered 3 of last 4.... georgia shoulda shut down gsu and didnt....it was 27-14 before a punt return for a td and a nice drive made it 41-14....gsu scored two more td's to make it 41-28 before the dawgs finished off the game with an icing on the cake td drive....i think fightin' gamecocks could keep it closer than some think....i really thought the bulldogs would win last week 50-0.....

Was down on my Cocks hard going into Vandy. Friend of mine
said Friday they were the safest play on the board last week. I guess I fell victim to Lou's naysaying. I wish I could have a good gut on this one. Man to man I don't see us match up to stay in it.
Throw in home team, Lou Holtz, big SEC game. Who knows. Maybe. Too many ????????? to bet it, but if I had to, I hate to say it would probably not be on the birds.

The best play I see is Virginia over NC. I will lay the pts and get my loses back here. Book it and bank it.

Watched a tape of the UGA/Ga Southern game...UGA does not look unstoppable. But the bottomline is they still have more talent than the Gamecocks. With Fred Gibson they have the best player on the field. They should be able to get by the Cocks with not much problem similar to the whooping they put on Clemson last year. Not sure of the spread yet, but I would say UGA covers anything under 10. Just my two cents and my two cents could be broke. But I know UGA pretty well and I think they handle the gamecocks.

I like Carolina at home with 8 points. We always seem to play Georgia tough at home and are 2-2 against them the past four years( Could be 3-1 if it wasn't for the Pollack mircle in the end zone). I see this game being very close and very low scoring.

My heart says Carolina. But that aside, for what ever the reason SC gives UGA a hard time, even when UGA has the best team. No doubt Georgia is the better team and could cover without any problem. But as dead said Columbia will be electric. I heard ESPN gameday will be in town. Is this true? I think it will be a close game. I wish I had taken the 9 at canbet when it opened, but it is at 8 now. Just a small wager for fun though.

I'm an SEC man and certain teams always play other ones tough. South Carolina always gives GA a game. GA looked bad against Ga Southern, a 1-AA team while SC beat Vandy who should be a 1-AA. The return of Demetrius Summers for SC is big, as he is great athlete if he can stay out of trouble. Pinkins can't throw, but he can scramble away from Pollock and that GA D. I think SC keeps this game close.

dont' put too much stock in the UGA/GSOU game....UGA basically went through the motions. They weren't up for the game and played like it. UGA has naitonal title aspirations and is my pick to win it all this year. This is a major step up in class for SC and UGA simply has too much for them. I love UGA in this spot.

Damn Pimp, I guess Im gonna have to see if I can get Spanky
Woods, my all time favorite Head Cock.

With all respect to my fellow Gamecocks here, Georgia spanked
our ass last year. 31-7. We have less experience on defense
and our Offense is about the same as last year and with two starting seniors, in LT Travelle Wharton and TE Hart Turner.

We do not match up with this Georgia team, and I heard all that
home field hype against LSU last year, when I predicted a Tiger
blow out.

I will be rooting hard for my Birds as allways and I hope I am wrong. But Georgia is the power house of the SEC this year and
please remember what they did to Tenn last year in Tenn.
I will not risk my hard earned coin on this one, but will enjoy the game.
