Hey everyone, I hope all of you killed the bookie this last week. If not, there is no need to worry because it is a long season. I went 5-2 this last week and am looking to improve some more.

here are some early picks:
Virgina -20.5: Virgina rolled Temple by 30 this last weekend while
NC had to score 21 points in the fourth quarter to beat William & Mary, thats right William & Mary.

Missouri -10.5: Missouri is one of the top three teams in the big twelve north, while Troy will becoming off an emotional win over Marshall. I look for Brad Smith to have a huge day and win by at least two touchs.

Kansas -3: Kansas is not that bad period. They play in a tough conference. Toledo got beat by over 40 points by a good Minn. team. I look for Kansas to win by at least 14 at home.

Nebraska -14: As you can tell I love the Big 12. This is my pick of the week. Nebraska is a fired up team this year, with a better coaching staff and a better offense. They will roll So. Miss. NE. scored 42 first half points against Western. Ill. A good AA team. With NE strong D and good offense I think they will when by 21 or more.

Tell Me what you think:

Also, be careful with OK and Kan. St. Neither one of them looked great but that does not mean you should start betting against them just yet because they are both great teams

Thanks Queen, I am just trying to help everyone else out and get some inside for myself. If anyone has questions on the Big12 just ask, because I pretty good with the Big 12. Good Luck to everyone, I am sure I will have many questions on the ACC and SEC, these are my weaker conf. But lets have a great year and put a little money in our pocket.

i agree on kansas -3 & virginia -21 .. the cavs were a team i overlooked this past week .. and was real sorry about it . But i have one of those every year opening week. so at least im consistent

one early look i have for 9/10 is louisville -21.5 @ army.

yea army returns 18 sts , but from a 0-13 team.
this will be armys opener, and louisville wont overlook them with tulane next. i dunno about everyone else but louisville looked really good vs kentucky. i just cant see army being able to prepare for that much beef moving that fast. figure LOU should score AT LEAST 3/4 qtrs and prolly get a ST TD , and defense should set up another score. GOOD chance for second straight shutout.

I agree with your assessment of the Cornhuskers this week. I think Callahan will definitely improve their offense. Hell last year their anemic offense scored 31 points against Southern Miss, at Southern Miss, and Southern Miss's defense was better last year than this year. I think the Nebraska defense shuts down Southern Miss and Nebraska wins 34-10. Good luck on your plays

Adding UConn at -14, simple becasue is Duke is bad.

What does everyone think of the Iowa/Iowa St. game. I know Iowa St. is bad but 25 points is a lot to lay in a rivarly.

Also, what about Oregon St./Boise St. Is Oregon St. really that good or is it a sucker bet

GL, Book-Killer. I like Virginia alot, too. I played them last week and felt really good about it. In fact I wished I'd gone with my initial instinct and played them bigger. I also like UConn, I think everyone thinks they might not be that good because they came out flat in the first half against Weber St.. But obviously someone (coach) woke them up in the second half. GL, with your plays!!
