Thursday Night:

Troy St +10.5 (3 units)

Think this is a great spot to play the Trojans, coming in a 17-15 winner in their season opener against Marshall on the road. This is their first year in the Sun Belt, and what better way to make a statement then on national TV in week 3 of the young college football season. They return a whole mess of starers, including all offensive skill positions and 6 on the defense, which allowed only 177 yards against a respectable Marshall squad. Obviously they will have much more to deal with against Brad Smith and Mizzou, but Smith is working behind an inexperienced line that returns just one starter and a redshirt freshman handling the center duties. Troy did not have much success rushing the ball in their opener, however this Mizzou defense is far from superior and always is notorius for giving up too many points. Mizzou will score their fair share of points in the game, however with the play of QB Aaron Leak, the Trojans should be able to keep this game close and earn some serious respect.
