Both are good very good. If they both match bet it. Along with www.donbest.com Massey is doing an Offense and Defense rating this year too.

Here I will give the secret sauce. I go to Sarigan first. Then Massey. Then I go to DonBest. Then I go to TeamRankings, on TeamRankings I look at Home Teams Rating at home and then the Away teams Rating Away. I look at Conference if they are playing Conference game, if not then I look at Non-Conference Game Rating. Then I go peak at Tony Mejia on Sportsline.

Could you tell me if I'm using sagarin right? For Example: Team A has rating of 88.38 and Team B has rating of 76.38. His ratings are predicting that team a should win by 12 points
right. I saw were you explained it last week, and I was wondering if i was calculating correctly. Thank you for your help queen. :yeah:

No it really does not tell you how many they will win by Just by how many points they can cover on a spread. So you got Team a at home with rating of 43.34 and you add 3.41 points for Home field then Team B Away team is 45 then Home team can cover a -1.5 spread. It's not 100 percent. Injures are not added in. I like to find the ones that should be the favorite and are the dog. If you look at his system for last week you will find his system said Rice, It also said Washington. You will find that the more in to the season the more correct he gets, on spreads. I dont mind answering questions. Ask all you want. My system is not all that hard to follow. Just time consuming going to all the sites.

Dont take to much stock in it this week. Be very picky. Around week 6 it will come out running on the better side. Between all the sites you will be lucky to come up with 2 or 3 picks this week. I have not started for the week yet. But becareful the first couple weeks.

I looked at sagarin rankings and the spreads for this weeks games. I mainly was looking for dogs that should be favorites. I found four with h/f adv. added in:

Oregon St. 83.93
Boise St. 83.80

Missouri 70.78
Troy St. 75.26

Penn St. 79.05
Boston College 82.79

Byu 79.18
Stanford 78.86


I was wondering what you were thinking on these four and if you found anymore. I don't know if i'm going to play any of these because you said he hits later into the season, so just looking now. Maybe a play if i can get some more info on these four before they begin.

Yes Im showing the same thing Off Saragin, but Im not playing any of those games. I dont like that Troy Game at all. I may want to kick myself for not taking them but Know Power Ratings alone right now are not as good as predicting as they will be in 4 to 5 more weeks. If this was week 6 I jump all over them. The reason I gave you the other sites is because you cant relay on Sarigan by itself. Massey and Don Best is saying Missouri Will Kick the crap out of them.
Team Spread Rating Line Should be and Edge
Missouri -10.5 54.0 -12.0 -1.5
Troy State 42.0

Don Best is saying Missouri can cover up to -12.0 Spread. That's what I mean about throwing out the ones that dont match and playing the ones that do match.

Don Best says Boise cover up to 7 points
Boston College Cover 1 point spread
Stanford Cover a 5 point spread

So you see now why those are all No plays for me conflicting information. Don Best just updated today and I have not gone all the way through the list. I will update it in my thread
