I was strongly considering Pittsburgh this afternoon too. I passed cause I couldn't lay juice with Vogelsong. He f'n blows.

Looks like I'm lucky I did. Weird things happen with these new or rookie pitchers. I know the guy starting for Milwaukee isn't a rookie, but he didn't pitch yet this year, so it's basically the same for betting purposes. Seems they have a decent game more often that they get lit up.

Don't feel bad. I lost MANY games fading rookies or average to bad guys that were out for a long time making their first start of the year.

It reminds me of the NBA last year...every time a guy like Iverson or Duncan was out, the line would move rediculously in favor of their opponent, yet more times than not the team missing the star player would win S/U, not even needing the + points.

I dunno, just something I have observed, but never really played the trend. As soon as i do, it would go down in flames, lol

Hope the Pirates come back for ya, and GL if you pick any late games..
