Yesterday sucked with the A's getting routed by Toronto, the Dodgers teasing me only to blow it in 11 innings (a game they shoulda won if they could have scored Weaver in the 3rd after a leadoff triple :bang:) and the D'Backs once again not giving Johnson any run support..

0-3 and -3.09 units for me yesterday.

YTD 422-392-10 (+10.56 units)
ASB 167-129-1 (+35.83 units)

Today I have made one play so far:

Braves/Phillies over 9.5 -110 2 units

Why the over with Hampton basically dominating the Phils this year, going 3-0 with a 1.21 ERA in 4 starts against them?

Well, this also means that this will be the 5th time the Phils are seeing him this year. I think seeing Hampton so many times will help the Phils be able to get some runs off of him today. Hampton is also historically prone to being a little wild and giving up the big inning early in games, although he hasn't done that lately....it's still a possibility.

Milton is almost guaranteed to give up some runs to the Braves, as he is known to give up the longball, and despite his 13-3 record, he has given up plenty of runs all year. Alot of the reason for this great record is alot of run support.

The Philly pen is also a good bet to give up a few more when they enter the game, as they aren't very good in that area.

So for these reasons I am taking the over 9.5 in this game.

Adding a 2 team parlay at -103.

Tigers
Cubs

2 units

I don't see any reason both of these well rested teams shouldn't bitch slap their weak ass opponents around today at home.

Smith is now the listed pitcher for Atlanta. Makes me like the play more. Replaced the bet at..

Braves/Phils over 9.5 -120 2 units

First play with Hampton/Milton will apparently be cancelled...

Thanks luckym.

Thx Rubee....B & B rule, lol...I still catch em on MTV2 sometimes, and i have most of the stuff on VHS too from back in the day. Saw that picture and though it would be a fitting avatar with football here now....

Braves and Phils left a shitload of men on base (over 15 I believe between them), or that came could have gone over. Those are the breaks though..

For tonight:

A's -125
Padres +140

1 unit each

Here we go again with a stupid underdog. SD has been at home and St. Louis just flew out to Cali after a homestand where they basically dominated San Diego and LA. I look for a little letdown from St. Louis tonight. Larry Walker may be out also.

A nice price on the A's at home. After looking nearly unstoppable, Boston's "O" has looked a little less menacing the last few days, and I don't think the 3000+ mile flight to Oakland is going to really help that. Arroyo is nothing special, and I think Zito should get enough run support to get the W tonight. A's play very well on their home field, a field which favors a flyball pitcher like Zito...and I also believe Oakland holds the bullpen advantage tonight as well.

GL on whatever you guy choose tonight :prtytme:

Don't wanna edit the original post this close to game time, so I just wanted to add here that I have San Diego at +145, not +140. Not a big difference really, just trying to be accurate.

Also just noticed almost 72% on St. Louis at "wagertrash". My line has been St. Louis -155/San Diego +145 all day. Interesting.

A bad call by the A's manager leaving Zito in WAY too long, and some bad calls by the umpire really swing the momentum in the A's/Sox game into Boston's favor, and Boston goes on to hammer Oakland. It happens...but doesn't make it any better. At least most of the rest of you guys benefitted since i saw alot on Boston and the over tonight.

It's all good with the Padres shooting down yet another LOCK on the Cards though, so with that I end up 2-2 (-0.20 units) today.

Won 3 units on the NCAA football game today, so i ain't too terribly upset :gulp:

YTD 424-394-10 (+10.36 units)
Since ASB 169-131-1 (+35.63 units)

Hope there are still a few more LOCKS out there yet this year
