After way too much info gathering for one friggin football game i am off the pot.....

Taking New Mexico +3...

The line has fluctuated from a start of +2.5 to +1.5 early this morning now back up to +3 as still 70% of the betting public is on the Cougars....and I still dont understand it....

I am at a total loss how one can figure this Wash St. defense can contain Moore....in last years 23-13 loss he was playing on one leg and didnt gain anything....still the lobos hung tough and were actually winning this game 13-12 at the half....the NM d played their asses off and shut the cougars down in the red zone.....Wash St kicked kicked 5 fg's that game....that was last year and this is now....NM is a better team than last year and Wash St. is not....they only return 2 starters on defense this year....that in itself is hard to overcome....game is at home with some revenge in play from last year and a healthy as a friggin thoroughbred horse in Dontrell Moore....i have seen comments regarding the fact that Wash St. has lost lots one year and came back the next reloaded with new faces and had good years....that dont mean diddly poop to me as far as this game goes tonight...i think the lobos will run roughshod and control the line of scrimmage keeping this game very close....

I am taking the home dog.....gl everyone...i know a lot of the forum is on Wash St.....

i have looked at this game so much it has made my friggin head spin...maybe the large public play had me thinking i was a lone wolf....i will have to go back through everyone elses threads to see where the majority of the forum is....if the public is 70% the favorite maybe all that other 30% on the dog resides here at UC...gl...one of us wins...right??

I'm looking at all angles, odds, weather, who has the lucky jock strap, etc.. but what happneds if the beast back gets stuffed? nm has a young inexperience passing attack... but thats IFs cause the same can be said for new qb for wash st. damn.. my ititial thoughts were a game along the lines of 24-17...NM isnt gonna win a shootout and i think a shootout is very unlikely...if the Lobos are gonna win or just keep it close to the 3 point line they have to do it on the ground contolling the line of scrimmage with Moore and the D will have to step it up as well...i see that happening so i cant lean toward an over...i love the +9.5 teaser...i cant fathom that not hitting....but i would find another line to fill the teaser than the over...by the way i absolutely never bet teasers....i rarely parlay....and i if i do i almost never do it within the same game....gl

gang.....to those who won and lost on this game take this from me....when you are gambling stick with your initial instincts...dont second guess yourself....over the years when i have done this it has jumped out and taken a bite outta my ass more times than not....i commented on this game on a thread earlier in the week...i'm sure it was htis game.... that i wouldnt touch it with a 10,000 foot pole....well i guess i found a 10,001 foot pole huh?? the line movement and public play brought me in off the sidelines after hours of capping the game made me decide to stay away....with much regret i apologize to anyone that tailed me on this game as i broke my own rules....i just think in the long run i couldnt let the game go without some action and it was foolish....and another thing....a blocked punt didnt lose this game for NM....it was a young, borderline incompetent QB that lost this game for the Lobos....unable to make any read, throwing interceptions and throwing to guys double teamed when he had two other receivers open on the other side of the field is what caused this loss....i wont tell you i am sorry for making a bad pick too often but this was a game that i knew should have left off the board and didnt....
