Titans @ Cowboy's Monday Night game

I was going to bet the Cowboys but now I am on the fence. The Cowboys are going to be playing at home for the first time this Pre-season. The thing that scares me about betting them is that the line has not moved and they are giving up a lot of points. They actually beat the Raiders on the road but then it was the Raiders. They had their ass handed to them by Cleveland so I am asking myself what kind of game plan can the Tuna be coming out with. Winning at home is very important but they are facing a team that has a very good coach and they are also 2 - 0 in the play-offs. Fisher can use this game as a good test to see how he will do on the road. So far the Titans have done well and I hope for this to continue. Dallas will be at home so I will wait and watch the line and see what direction it will move. Still leaning on the Titans but its hard togo against the Cowboys knowing they are winding the Pre-season down and they are playing at home. I just find it interesting that the spread is what it is. The Titans will keep this close but I will wait and read more and watch the line movements. Leaning on the Titans and would appreciate anyone elses point of view on this game. Fisher knows he is going up against the Master of the game and I hope he brings his A game. Post my final decision later but would appreciate any input. GL

The line seems a little fishy to me. Dallas -3.5 at my book, begging us to take Tenn., I personally am going to look more at a totals play but will most likely play Dallas minus the points. I'm coming up with a pick at this point and for Dallas to be favored, it does not seem right. Just my 2 cents.:thumbs:

Thanks guy's, I was also leaning to the under. The line looks fishy to me also. I have the Titans winning this game. I agree with you Thor on why the Cowboys are favored. I also think they are favored because this is their first game at home and the Tuna will want a strong showing. I am going to wait as the points are going to only help me. Based strictly on public play/line movement I say give the nod to Dallas.

However, I haven't capped the game yet so I'm not sure how that will line up with my analysis. I'd definately be wary of a play on the Titans.

WOW, just went in and saw that 61% of all the bets at one site are on the Titans. The line has moved up so you have a very good point rjp. I already made my selection and I am not going to change it. Thats a killer when you change and it loses. GL

Ok I got what I wanted and that was an extra point. The line is now at +4 almost everywhere. Playing the total Under 37 also.

Looks like things are starting to balance out. The spread has moved to +4.5 for the Titans but the total is not moving. A lot of talk on this board about a trap game and trust me, it won't be the first trap that I have jumped into. It does appear that they are begging for money on the Titans but my bet is in and no way I change it. I've done it before and ended up changing a winner to a loser. Its not fun at all!!!! Either way good luck tonight. Wish I would have waited for the extra 1/2 point. If the Titans end up losing then I want to give a big thanks to rjp, for trying his hardest to get me to see the light. Unreal, I was wondering how far this line would move. I thought getting on with 4 was awesome. Fisher must be starting all bench players. Just the kind of guy's you want on the field? Dead, I played the total Under 37 so I got the push. Very fortunate to have that one push. One step closer to 500, lol. GL

one of the reasons i rarely play totals is that as you know i still call the man and on totals there is no push...if that total was 37 and the score was 37 i lose....good pick on the side though....that was a tough game to lay on.....remember i'm on your tail when the regular season starts....i think i picked 4 game over .500 for the year in nfl last year....frustrated the shit outta me....

i dont plan on picking a game myself in pros....i will chip in two cents here and ther but i will let the forum on the NFL games be my pied piper...i will just tag along with those on the hot streak....i think i've spent everynight till 2 in the morning capping college teams in the couples weeks ive been back from my cooperstown trip....think i could give the swammy on espn a run in cfb knowledge right now...lol...is there anything that guy doesnt know??
