Two in a row...alert the media! (No wait...I AM the media..:bang: ) 82 - 83 - 4 TD>

Twins -130

This one is ALL about starting pitchers, given two strong bullpens. And both teams hot..Rangers 8 of last 9..Twins 6 of last 7. All about the starters. The Gambler has been roughed up for a 6.89 last 3...Johann if you HAVENT heard lately....Twins have climbed their BAA to .297 last 10..Texas at .251. And then there's Johann again...this one, simply, is all about the starting pitchers. And some hot Twins bats. Push er one more time...

Make money on MONday...lol boyz.

Good luck bassard:cool: I guess that gay saying "at least one of us will win" applies here! The Twins rarely profit for me and Texas HAS been hot of late. I will tell you this much.....I've gained muchos respect for the Twins this season! I can honestly say I never paid any mind to their franchise until I started reading your posts! Quality players WITHOUT the prima donna attitudes....quite refreshing, really! Take care, Rubeee.ee.e!

thx DJ, corey...quick, you're right, winning ALWAYS beats "misery loves company", eh?

Roth...there IS somethng dfferent about my ballclub. Even in the post-game interviews, guys like Koskie, Hunter, ford, Jones..hell almost all of em... pass the buck to the TEAM effort and the pitching. I t really is humbling to watch them on and off the field. very COOL guys, who simply love the game.

iw>>>YOU"RE ASKING ME ABOUT THE NL?!?!?! /....what the FUCK is that?

imagine that roth...surprise SURPRISE I aint no yank fan...store-bought fucks...

hey devil: yea, there's certain jaxes this year..then again..the t's just swept the Tribe for the first time since like freecking 93...who knows.

I'm just "painting by numbers" here. let's compare.:

santana LAST 10 has a 98 - 19 K-BB ratio. rogers a 28 - 16. Santana has allowed 14 runs last 10. rogers 41. Johann has a 2.31 ERA last 10. Dont even fucking know what the Gambler's is.

WHICH color would you like tonight...

GL Bid Daddy!!! Hey Rubee have you ever heard of a play by play announcer Johnny Doskow? He's with the Sacramento Rivercats. He was in Cedar Rapids and few other midwest places before landing the Sac job. He actually did a few Toronto games recently....The man is very close to being at the top. The man is like a brother to me so of course I think he's awesome. Not many good one's out there anymore. Of course I grew up with Vin Scully....And was spoiled from the get go. Listening to Joe Morgan and Jon Miller last night made want to stick forks in my ears....urgh. They are both so over rated.

i'm giving you rube cred. our twins are playing great and you are right there is a different feeling around this team lately. can't believe the way corey is hitting the ball and torii is stealing bases. can you remember the last time he even had to slide?? crazy. i see you are from dickinson. i am originally from minot, but i have many friends from dickinson and south heart. anyway i'm excited to watch johan tonight, but i think i am going to pass on betting this game. they have made me some good money lately, but i haven't seen too much of texas this year. good luck :gulp:

off topic, but im curious, does everyone in SD and ND like the twinkies? seems like it!

the majority do. i would say the twins have one of the broader audiences in the majors. minnesota north and south dakota, nebraska, iowa, and some of wisconson.

I agree that the Twins are the correct play today. The gambler is nowhere in Santana's class right now. Saw him pitch in person at Baltimore a few weeks ago and the O's were all over him, leading to an early exit. Haven't looked at the game any deeper than that, but I may play the Twins on the pitching match up alone.

To answer a question from earlier in the thread...

The guy the Mets are starting today (Heilman) was brought up last year. He was supposed to be a top prospect but basically didn't do crap except take a few beatings, get demoted to the bullpen, and eventually back to the minors.

That being said, I have no idea what he did this year (i assume at AAA)....

I don't know if i'd lay the wood with the Padres, but I sure wouldn't play against Peavy with a team starting an unknown commodity at best...but that's just me.

bobo:

never heard of Doskow, but Scully was way too cool....I wish freecking Herb carneal WOULD retire (Palms will know what I mean)...he sounds like he's literally on his deathbed. his "smooth" style is now just lackluster, at best.

and PA-LEASE dont get me started AGAIN on Jon Miller...he is a white fucking PIMP re-incarnated:puke: At least Morgan knows what the fuck he's talking about...he speaks baseball to the common man..

and Palms! cool...you ACTUALLY know people from South Heart?!?!! much less Dickyville eh...why dont you ask yo or a mod for my personal e-mail...be curious as to who you know..

Yea, the 5 state area ,re-t, is pretty faithful to the T's...ALTHOUGH some come and go like fair-weather fans...there's also a fair share of Rockies fans around here...but they've lost base these last few years...WHEN they stink...our station carries them...not much response...

No offense to anyone who has Texas tonight, but I figured this would be the appropriate place to say that -130 on the Twins ANYTIME Johann takes the mound is an absolute steal.

Lets hope the Twins can hold on and win this one...I need it tonight, lol

Johann could win 5 more...and then its cy young time. I think the cat is outta the bag.

What "scares" me is the Twins are getting key hits now from 7 out of any 9 in the lineup...like the firest 7 weeks of thes season. They are fucking Hot. hot. and their starting pitching...zowie.

good night boyz...keep your eye on the T's train for awhile...
