Has anyone seen a total on this game yet? I have been studying the game as much as I can and i just dont like either side that much. I would lean towards USc but the line has moved to 18 and 18.5 in most places. That just seems a little bit too much for the first game of the year. If anyone has seen a total i would like to know what it is. Thanks.

Looked on Vegas insider and one sportsbook had the over under at 54. A little higher than i was expecting but if anyone sees a different total please let me know. I was expecting around 47.

Man the line is everywhere. I like might take them both to each extreme, just for fun.

Back reseach on some VT games and you know California and VT in that bowl game scored almost 100 points. California is the team that handed USC there only loss. Really has a good chance of going way over.

Queen- you have to look at this year's rosters IMO. VaTech lost their top RB and WR and have no one ready to fill that void. USC lost their top RB to suspension, no Mike Williams and they lost their other top wideout from last year (colbert i believe). PLUS, rumors in Socal are that QB leinert is really hurting from an elbow injury right now, and has pain while throwing. They may take it easy in the first game with him. Their defense is going to be awesome still, though. I don't see VaTech doing a whole lot of scoring, and i think USC wins this in the neighborhood of 27-13. I LOVE this under if i can find it around 48-50 points. Just my opinion.

GL to everyone!

IMO this is a high scoring game. 40-30 by each team. Lots of passing.

GL!

I looked at the lines again and i am seeing lines from 48 at Olimpic all the way up to 59. I dont know but that is the largest gap i have ever seen for a total. This game seems to have more than just the cappers stumped.

In terms of the scoring i see USC torching va tech all day long. USc will easily be around 30-35 points against va tech. I just dont see va tech scoring on the USC defense. Special teams and luck may help them, but the Va tech offense is not very good at all. Keep in mind the offense has lost Jones, Wilfork, and Vick, almost all of the firepower that they had last year.
