What are everyone's thoughts on NC State being a team that will be a good bet ATS each week this year, or at least during the beginning.
Without Rivers, it is likely that the spread might be inflated in favaor of State's opponents and the truth is that this team is still a good team without Rivers. I personally never liked Rivers, thought he was not as good as the hype and we will all see in the Pros when everyone finds out about his rag arm and the inability to throw a 15-20 yd out. Honestly, how can NCSU claim him as their best QB ever and he never gave them an ACC Championship.
Regardless, my point is that the Defense will be stout this year especially against the run with their strong linebacking corp and hopefully the boys in the secondary will have learned a little in the offseason and keep opposing QB's in check.
Just throwing an idea out for now,have not looked seriously into it yet, but would like some feedback.
