Survival Football rules say you got one shot, make it count. Contest starts Week 1. No draft, no BS just plan ole pick a pick and if it wins you are in the next week.

Queen, I took Pitt as soon as I signed up. I ain't ashamed LOL. BTW, last two years, the first week eliminated a whole lot of folks that picked the team with the biggest spread. Last year it was Mia losing to Hou and Mia was -10. Year before that Min was the biggest fav and lost to whoever, I can't remember. Ut Oh, StL is the biggest fav this year. A few weeks ago Philly had the same line and wondered which big fav was going down. Looks like StL now LOL

Welcome to Yahoo! Sports Survival Football, a weekly game that challenges you to show your skills by correctly identifying a winning professional football team in each of the 17 weeks of the regular season.
Each week you must select one team that you suspect will be a winner in their game that weekend. If that professional team wins, you remain Active and are allowed to pick again the following week. If the professional football team you selected loses (or the game ends in a tie), you are Eliminated from the competition and may no longer make future picks.

To make this simple sounding game more of a challenge, you can only select each professional football team once while an Active member of an individual group. So this is what makes it tough. You pick St. Louis this week and they win or whatever team and you can't pick that team anymore.
