Is it just me or does the Eagles to win the Division at +100 look really really good, Dallas and Washington are the two most likley to cause them trouble but I think it may be worth laying the dime, The thing is i don't know philly too well and maybe i can get some opinions from the board, any help would greatly be appreciated, thanks

the birds will win the
nfc east
the nfl playoffs
and the superbowl
they are on a mission
last three years lost the nfl championship
they are going all out this year
picked up kearse / to/ and this week got trotter back from the redskins
trotter wanted to comeback after making a mistake and going to the redskins playing out his options
go birds this year
i'm looking at 12 wins or more
the over /under in vegas is 10'
the over is a good bet also

I would take the eagles at those odds as well. One thing that Dallas, and Washington dont have, a good QB. and Eli won't even have any one to throw to.
I would risk the dime on McNabb and Owens. Kearse, I really dont count on him too much because of his injury problem, but a healthy freak show is always fun to watch.

Manning to win MVP #3!!!!!
Big Blue all the way!!!
Now to be serious, I dont think the Eagles are going to have as good of a year as people think. I sense a lot of dissapointment.
I also know how the Giant team works, and although its a stretch to win the NFC east, they are going to be a Sleeper pick this year, and here is why.
As a Giant fan, you have to know that games they should win by 3 TD's they lose. And games that they have no shot in, they win. There are millions of examples out there that i dont need to list. Giants always lose to backup QB's and have beat a bunch of undefeated teams at 10-0, 13-0, etc.
When the giants are counted out before the season, they usually make the playoffs, and when they are supposed to be good like last season, they bomb.
To make a long story short, the giants are predicted by most to finish last in a strong NFC East division. If history is any indicator (and this history has gone back as long as i can remember) then watch out for Big Blue in '04!!

Well after much self debate, I have decided to make these two plays(1 unit = $100)
Eagles to Win Division +100 (to win 5 Units)
Colts over 10 wins -125(to win 5 units)
I really like the colts, Looking at their scheduale I see about 6 should wins and i'm sure they can at least split the 10 more difficult games for an 11-5 season. I think its all about a good start for the colts because thier first four games are tough.
As for my eagles bet, I just like it. They are a very good team this year, only thing scaring me is that they might not be able to keep up with the hype, Only threat i see is Washington and maybe the Giants for the first half, As for Dallas i simply think they overacheaved last year and i dont see them fighting for division late in the year. Hope this works out, will look for more intersting prop bets, if you guys got any recomendations don;t be shy!

Like the Skins and Boy's in this division.
The Eagles will be a wild card team at best this year. They lost both starting cb's, 2 of their best lineman, and their best RB.
What they picked up hardly fills the void. Kearse and Trotter's best years are behind them. Donovan has not faired well under big pressure and it's really on now. With the acquisition of TO he no longer has the excuse of poor receivers. This team has gotten a little worse each of the last 3 years. Donovan's running ability and big play's from TO could carry this team to the playoff's, but not to another championship game.
I see the skin's and cowboy's slugging it out for this division with the tie-breaker to the Skin's simply because they are much more stable at the QB position. Ramsey is a solid QB, but had to run for his life last year behind a pathetic line. Now with a seasoned veteran QB also added to the roster and Gibb's at the helm this team finally has the leadership to go with the talent. Skin's just look like a solid, well-rounded team.
Sorry Giant's fans, it's gonna be a long year for you and Elisha, you gave up way to much to get him.
