Kevin, these guys sign thses hugh contracts and think they are invincible. They believe they are better than the average person and their money and status will keep them out of trouble. They need to make an example out of a few of them and the shit will stop!!!!!

Blacksburg, VA, Jul. 6 (UPI) -- Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick, younger brother of Atlanta star Michael Vick, was suspended indefinitely by the school Tuesday.

The suspension was for a second off-the-field incident in two months. It was reported that the 20-year-old Vick was stopped by Virginia state police Saturday morning and charged with reckless driving and marijuana possession.

The suspension was announced by Athletic Director Jim Weaver and was unrelated to a three-game suspension Vick received earlier Tuesday for a previous incident. Football Coach Frank Beamer also suspended Vick from participation in all team activities.

Last season, Vick was allowed by Beamer to suit up for every game, despite his redshirt status, in order to get the feel of game-day preparation.

Earlier Tuesday, the school announced Vick and two other players would be suspended three games for an incident in May. Vick and teammates Mike Imoh and Brenden Hill were convicted of giving alcohol to teenage girls.
=============================================

A Virginia State Police trooper pulled him over for going 88 mph in a 65-mph zone. A search revealed Vick was carrying two bags of marijuana, State Police spokesman Gary Payne said.

Vick, 20, was released from police custody on a summons. He is scheduled to appear at 10:30 a.m. July 27 in New Kent County General District Court. The maximum penalties for the misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and possession of marijuana are 12 months in jail and a $2,500 fine. Marc Long, Vick's lawyer, did not return phone calls Tuesday.

Saturday marked the second time in six months that Vick has been in trouble with the law. He and teammates Brenden Hill and Mike Imoh were found guilty in bench trials in May of three counts each of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Vick was sentenced to 30 days in jail and a $2,250 fine. Hill, a former Warwick High player, was sentenced to 20 days in jail and a $1,500 fine, and Imoh was sentenced to 10 days in jail and a $750 fine. The players have appealed the verdicts and are seeking new trials.

Tuesday's action marked an about-face by Tech's athletic department. After the convictions in May, Weaver said he would discipline the three players, but wouldn't say what the penalties would be other than that they would be apparent once the season started.

The only way Beamer saves face is to kick him off the team! don't need a guy like that, no matter how talented! I don't even know how talented he is, I've never really seen him play!

Best thing a coach can do with a troubled young man, is to call him in the office, and tell him he is no longer on the team! He is free to sign anywhere he wants to! Maybe, then, if the next couple of teams pass on him, and he were to sit out next year, then he'll realize that he can't do everythin he wants!

I have lost all respect for the Vicks, Beamer, and Va. Tech!!! I hope they lose every game they play and go straight to shit for eternity!

Sorry, but this shit really pisses me off!!!!!!:puke:

Lamar Odom was also seen leaving Vicks car. In a wierd twist all of Big Brothers stardum went to Marcus's head as if he was already invincibile from the law. Its too bad Marcus did not turn out like Mike because Mike is a model citizen on and off the field. Go to rehab Marcus:gulp: :booz: :guzzle: :beer2:

rehab? Comeon.... so he was smoking some pot, big deal. Maybe he was stupid and careless enough to get caught, but come on it's not like he killed someone or got busted with H. I for one think it would rule to hang out and smoke with lamar and vick.

Maybe he's spoiled, and has a heightened sense of power and invulnerability because his brother is so famous and he's quite talented too, but if any of you guys honestly think you wouldn't take advantage of you stardom in similar ways you're kidding yourselves. :prtytme:

Len Bias, theres a blast from the past. That poor bastard. Hell of a talent, never got to step on the hardwood.

Alright, excuse my classlessness, but time to bust out with the jokes.

What do Len Bias and daisies have in common? Four days after you pickem they die.

What do Len Bias and Rock Hudson have in common? They both got ahold of some bad crack!
