Well.....the 3 game sweep is complete(I have to say I called it after Game 3...that they would win all 3...and DID!).....and a ROUT by Detroit....that was a AWESOME DISMANTLING by the Pistons....

I hope we all had fun this NBA playoffs...I sure did....not losing one side bet,total or ML....only a prop and 2 series bets....WOW!

Could you clear this up?

Also anyone who still thinks moneylines are a fine way of betting I will go back to the thread where you laid 6.5k to win 1k which you hedged.(smart play)

My arguement was won for me though I think. If you would have tossed 2k on a side you would never had to put the extra 5k in play which you basically just covered on another bet and exposed yourself to a possible big loss. Not trying to bust balls but trying to make people see that numbers don't lie but liars use numbers. (I should cralify this that I mean vegas when I say that)

Looks like you updated it in another thread while I was typing this up.

Not one side bet,total bet or ML bet did I lose.....only 2 series bet and a prop bet....

I will be around in the MLB and NFL forums now to try and repeat this feat.

Not coming at you at all I just have problems with moneylines. You won all yours and that was good but trust me others that try this and miss they will get whipped out fast. I'm giving you nothing but props but you would be pluss 5k more right now if that one wager was not in there. Just trying to show that nothing is more likely to happen on a 50/50 bet.

Where is the 6.5k for 1k in there????? That was a loss which probably was enough to wipe out any or better yet all of your other moneyline wagers.(not quite the case)

Your win percentage is what 87% with one hedged bet which you were lucky enough to win. The amount of money you place means nothing to me. You may have 20 bucks on each game it does not matter. That is the point I'm making. Moneylines for you where not successfull even if you think they were.



Heres the point you played 6 ML wagers you won 5. You went 83% on the ML and made 1.9 dimes risking 17.6 dimes to do so. That is not a great take for the amount wagered. You pulled it off but do you see this in the light I'm looking at it in. You stick to just sides and you have to worry about vig which is enough to over come.

That is my point only and I'm not getting personal or argueing with you. I was originally getting into it with someone else anyway not you. You just happen to be the most popular guy arround lately.LOL

Yes that is true but to me a bet is a bet it really doesn't matter what you bet or why you bet it I'm strickly about the numbers. I may be mistaken but I didn't do the math but real quick thinking here.

Take out all your ML bets and you wager 17k less money and at the end your up 3k more. :gulp:

14-0 +17805/LA to win series at -285 vs Detroit...down 0-1

.....I already have LA to win series for 6.5 dimes to win 1,placed this before GAme 1.....now after losing Game 1,the odds lower to
-280 LA to win vs Detroit.

LA had 18 Free throw shots to Detroits 30!!! ...and this game was in LA,the offense sputtered and the defense looked lost on most occasions.....PHIL JACKSON to the rescue! He is already complaining and will work his mojo on the refs.....plus,I think the league needed a Game 1 upset to garner more interest.....if LA won Game 1(most likely Game 2 as well)the ratings would of dropped severly.....LA will still win in 5 to 6 games.

Laying 5.6 dimes to win 2 dimes for LA to win series vs Detroit...LA is down 0-1.
