One thing i occasionally like to do is find 2 heavy underdogs that i think have a decent chance of winning on a given day, and to bet them both for 1 unit. even if only 1 wins, you still end up making a good profit.

tonight's: tampa bay (+150) at san diego (mark hendrickson for tampa who has been very strong lately, vs. b. lawrence who is a better road than home pitcher)

and toronto (+180) at san francisco (toronto's batista has given up 1 run in his last 2 starts and is coming off a CGSO, and schmidt while he has been great, his ERA is almost 2 points higher at home than on the road)

I must be missing something, Houston and Florida are both favorites at my books.

they both are but I know many don't look at these % or numbers but its like 80% on the cubbies public betting wise and almost the same for the marlins
86% for the cubs and 71% for the whitesox

Sorry for the misunderstanding Chanman. I still think the public is on Houston and Florida though according to the sites I look at for public %.
