Good Last 19 days..15-3-1...Here we go..

NBA Finals: Game 5 LA at Detroit
In Game 4..Det took over in the 4th Q while LA fell apart and Lost their Composure..The only thing LA did right was Finally win the 3rd Q But did not Finish the 4th Q..No Killer Instinct..LA has been a Soap Opera all year But there has to be More going on Behind Closed Doors..The Ripple Effect thru the whole Team of LA was just Unreal..See it in their Eyes and they don't have the Confidence in their self or Each Other..No one on Det can Cover O'Neal one on one but LA wiil go away from him or have Bad Spacing on the Floor..LA has just tryed to use Different Combinations on the Floor but there is No O Flow..Game 4 FT Det 41 to LA 22..Rebs Det 45 to LA 38..and 4th Q Det outscored LA 32-24..Det is Playing the Best Team ball as any team in Finals on both O and D..Det finds the Best O Matchup and Coach Brown is one of the Best to do this..The Key is that all 5 Players on the Floor Understand that and DO it while LA has been standing around scratching their Heads and Complaining to each other..Det has no weakness on the Floor but LA does and Coach Brown has his Team Exploiting it..A Sign at Game 4 Said."Lakers need Dr Phil Not Coach Phil"..True..LA is down 3-1 and Must win Game 5 or Thats All Folks..Jackson has tryed Everything from Different Combos on Floor to Working the Refs..Magic Johnson even Ripped the Team..History Changes on Tuesday Night because Det wins ALL 3 games at Home and Become NBA Champs..A Unit Is The Sum Of All The Equal Parts..Det is a Great Basketball UNIT...So..

Dan: I still think LA was the play on Game 4 we ya looked at everything after game 3 and LA was right there after 3Qs..Won their 1st 3rd Q in Series...Then Fell apart..Looked like Det was Team that had been in Finals Before..Came down to Players playing better Together and Doing what their Coach wanted them to do in 4th Q..Det did LA didn't..Period..Give Det the Credit..Joe Dumars has done a Great job Putting Together a Team..Period..Well Game 5 is Tonite...BOL

Everyone says its over........the Lakers are done.......Detroit is the best team in basketball....blah blah blah blah.......I say Detroit gets handled tonight....The Lakers aren't the team to roll over like this.........it doesn't happen this way....not when the best two players in the world are facing elimination. I'm taking the Lakers tonight to win...........this series is just beginning!!!!!!! Even if its two vs 10.......I'm taking Shaq and Kobe tonight to prove their enigma and combine for 60+ tonight. Detroit won't be scoring 32 in the forth quarter like last game......buckle up your seat belts cappers....hold on tight....this series is going back to L.A!!!!!!

I would normally say the same thing as you do...unfortunately, the two best players on the Lakers frankly detest one another. This team has imploded. As far as talent goes, even witrh Malone hurt, they still have more individual talent than Detroit. But Detroit plays as a team, and does not suffer from extraordinary arrogance from the head coach on down the line.
That being said: the Lakers could and should be even in this series. Not one person on Detroit can guard Shaq:neither can two of them. Now had Jackson had the guts to yank Kobe when he decided he wanted to score no matter how well the team was playing going to Shaq, the last game would have been the W the Lakers needed to get back home. If the Lakers lose, and I think they will, they have only to look in the mirror, as they individually are a better group than the Pistons. But teams, not a collection of overinflated egos, win championships.

Radication: I think LA has Better players on their Team But in the 1st 4 Games They are not Playing Together as a Team..As a UNIT..
Basketball is a Team game and Must be Won as a Team..Sometimes LA gets away from That and it gets them Out of a Flow..LA has all the Talent in the World to win 3 Straight but Not until they Play as a Unit...IMO...so Best of Luck to Ya..Hammer em..!!

KEEP IN MIND THAT TECHINALLY, DET WON GAME 2 IF THEY WOULD HAVE FOULED INSTEAD OF GIVING KOBE THAT 3 PT PLAY, AFTER LA GAVE UP A 12 PT LEAD. DET HAS BEEN THE BETTER COACHED TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS, THE BETTER DEFENSED TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS, AND I BELIEVE WILL END THIS AT HOME, AT LEAST I HOPE AND THAT IS MY PLAY

The NBA would lose out on a chunk of $$ if the series were to end tonight. I think the foul-calling will be much more evenly dispersed between the teams, hence giving the Lakers a path to victory for game 5 and perpetuating the series (see more TV revenue, ticket sales, betting action, etc.)

JerseyJ: If LA plays BB like they can..They will Win..But in Game 4 Det had a Bad FG% shooting 2Q and LA could not Blow them out..Yes FT keep them in Game But will LA get more FTs..??..Are the Refs tired of Hearing crap from players..??..So Far Det has had Advantage in FT 1st 4 games..Yes NBA people want 6 or 7 games..I just Saw the Look in LA players Eyes..Det just has more Hunger..Have to see...BOL to ya Hammer em..!!
