Gang.....I guess it isnt just me looking forward to pigskin season.....put your capping hat on right now.....there are two teams in college football that I believe are gonna be true bookie busters this year and you will see a lot of action from me on both teams all year.....Clemson Tigers and the California Golden Bears......team.....I know its early but look at their schedules.....for Clemson....the only question I have right now is the away games at Fl State in Tallahassee and Miami.....I see these guys going 9-2 straight up this year and if they play as well as I suspect they might do better than that.....Cal plays at Miss. State on a thursday night espn game.....that is scary with only 3 days to prepare then have to go into Hattiesburg.....I can already see laying off that game....the only other concern I have is with USC.....I am telling you right now unless something goes by the wayside on the rosters of these two teams.....you throw two units(200.00) a game on the nine other games these two teams play the entire season I look to be no worse off than 6-3 for each.....thats a combined 12-6 and +17 units.....at least that is what my crystal ball is telling me in June....lol......come on football season.....this coming from a die hard Cincinnati Reds fan.....

Second! Feels good to not be out in the cold about Clemson. I am a little biased but not ignorantly biased.

Everyone reading this, Dead is South Carolina alumnus and is talking about the Tigers doing really well. Is the temperature dropping in hell.

I will be right behind you Dead and Thor on Clemson, have not looked at Cal, but will definitely check it out.

whether I bleed gamecock red or not doesnt have any influence on whether to lay my hard earned cash on or against Clemson or USC.....I watched them close the second half of the season last year and had in my mental notes to look hard at them this upcoming season.....same as Cal......

troll....thanks bunches for the correction....duh....S. Miss won some cash for us last year here in the forum at home....that is one tough place to go into....

thor....Rodgers had knee surgery this past off season and didnt participate in spring drills.....he will be ready in the fall.....they have a strong Sr. back up in Reggie Robertson and a wealth of young speedsters to pull in the ball.....but they do need Aaron Rodgers.....he is the real deal and if the knee holds up look for him to throw for close to 4k yards this year and about a million TD's....their D should be much improved with another year of experience so they wont have to score 45 pts a game to ensure a win....they'll score 45 just for the fun of it this year!!

Payday...Dead is right on with your Boys..Clemson finished 6-2 last 8 and After Fl St game(W)..they found themself and won last 4..with 27-14 W over Tenn in bowl game...as a Dog..$$$ on that one...

Dead...Cal will be a force in Pac 10..Cal was 5-1 last 6 .(4pt loss at Oregon)..with a wild W vs VTech in Bowl..Only team to beat USC.(in 3OT)..Coach Tedford in a Great O mind..(right up there with Norm Chow of USC)..They will have a Great year..score 30+ almost every game..IMO...A team that will need to be Watched..!!....Wow is it time for Football or What..??????

Can we ask the NCAA for a July game..????

right on thor.....obviously cant wait....getting head start on the capping here and in the next few weeks should have 25-30 college teams profiled by the end of the month.....profiling each team prior to the season gets my blood flowing.....and allows me 30-60 days to get to know each team intimately......usually have around 50 teams profiled before each year and go from there.....the checkered flag is down Team UC....

We need an UC mascot.....lol

My Memory has passed me by, but, I have Cal marked on my calender after watching them beat someone's ass on ESPN this past season. They will be a team to be reckened with barring any major injuries!!! I have been a fan of Clemson since bowen took over as coach!!!
