He reduced the top marginal tax rate on wealthy people from 73% to 38%, freeing up hundreds of billions of dollars of capital that caused the economy to grow six-fold just during the years he was in office. That singular move essentially ensures our economic security and will be viewed by historians as THE principal domestic policy that revitalized America in the late 20th century.
