The Tennessean reports that running back Eddie George hasn't yet been released. The team and the agent for George have been discussing a cap-friendly deal, but no progress has been made. George has spent his entire career with the organization.

From what i hear Oakland is very interested in this deal. The raiders have signed a lot of people this offseason but i feel like this would be a good pickup. They have always lacked a good running back, this could solve that problem.
