Preseason System Question

Hey guys- Looking for some insight from the knowledgable UC forum as to a system theory someone told me about. He suggested to flat bet every preseason game UNDER. He swore that was how he got a fat bankroll to play with for the year on the spreads. Does this sound like baloney, b/c to me it sounded pretty legit b/c of all the scrubs that finish games. Any feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

I really don't have any basis to say yes or no, but I will say this... the oddsmakers definitely adjust the totals based on the fact that scrubs finish the games...

Its easier to get your defense up to speed then your offense. It takes longer for the offense to get into the swing of things. Other then coverage packages the defense is mostly basic. I still think that the spreads are fifty fifty but each and every year can be different. Some teams are also better unders thru out the season. Certain coaches push defense and never run up a lot of points. That holds true thru out the season. I have had a lot of luck playing opposites. It works really well in the AFC North as that is the division I watch closely. Over the years I have played opposites on totals. If the Ravens and the Steelers play an under in their first game I go with the over in the second game played. If it goes over in the first then I play the under in the second and so on. I have done very good with this. The Ravens are a great under team and so are the Patriots. The Patriots are going to be rock solid again this season. Coaches like Parcells are also very good with unders. He tends to be more conservative then others and his teams play rock solid defense. He will be fun to watch this season. I can't wait for this to start. It can't get here soon enough. GL

That was basically the gist of this guys theory and the reason he said paly ALL unders for all four weeks. Thanks for the comments-I didn't really expect any for weeks or more. You guys are awesome for commenting. And I agree totally with the line adjustments-so maybe not a system to try, but I still might, I've been mulling it over as it takes away all "thinking" so I can just lay bets without an ounce of effort. WE'll see, any more commentary or suggestions on tweaking it or building it from scratch would be great. I like your flip flop idea in division Steel.
