Your never going to believe what happened at the All Star voting for the Minor leagues. Two coaches voted their kids on and both were fighting that neither deserved to go. They both gave in and let both of their kids on to the All Star team. This is the last year my son will play Little League. I can name 13 kids that are better then both of kids picked. This is horrible but I guess if you coach a team your son is guaranteed a spot on the All Star team. My son made it and I am thinking of pulling him off of the team just to make a point. I am going to talk it over with my son and see how he feels. Parents will ruin sports 9 times out of 10. One coach called me and he is sick that one of the kids made the All Stars. This kid can not even catch and while pitching he was hit in the face. The ball was thrown by the first baseman on a return throw. The kid was rushed to the doctor. I am so sad for the kids that did not make the team. I know some hearts are going to broken for sure. Kids come last in the area where I live. Never again will my son be a part of something so unfair. I asked that the kids make the selections from a list of players. You would have thought I was asking for a miracle. Never again and that is a promise. I hope its better elsewhere and I hope none of you have to go thru this with your kids... GL

I know of 2 kids that are going to broken hearted and they should be. I told my son to think about giving up his spot so he could pick any other player and give him his seat. Without me saying a word, he came up with the same 2 kids. Their parents are going to be sick. What adults will stoop to never surprises me anymore. This is about as low as it gets. Never again its just not worth it.

Steel, I know your trying to show your son right from wrong and you should be proud of that. I just think its a lot to ask your son not to play on the all-star team because of these two fucks (Yes a F bomb is in order) I know your saying it will be his decision but If I'm correct, your son looks up to you for your approval. Your son wants to do right for you. To put this kind of pressure on him at such a young age is asking a lot of him. He made the All-Star team fair and square and I know your proud of him. He earned it, I don't even know the young man and I'm proud of him. I don't know if this will come out right but let me give it a try. You have two parents that are coaches and want there son on the all star team and they got there wish. Now here you stand pissed off because its not fair for the other kids. So your suggesting that your son makes a choice if he wants to be on the team because of the unethical procedure that was used in picking the team. To me this is the same thing as the coaches putting there son on the team. You don't want your kid to play because of the unfairness. Your 100% right but you can not live through your kid. Let your kid play he earned it, do even let him ponder the thougth of not playing! This is a time when he is growing and learning that life is unfair. I hope I made myself clear. I agree with you 100% on how you feel. I just feel you shouldn't put this kind of pressure on him. I hope you see my side of it.

Best of luck

On same page with Billy, Steel.....let the boy enjoy the all-star experience and fuck the idiots that are running your league.....hopefully they are not the same fuck-offs that will be coaching the team.....if this is official LL I suggest you write a letter to Williamsport.....I also suggest changing the league your son plays in next year and avoid the ass wipes that have caused you and your son to have a less than enjoyable LL season....the kids here in the our little old state of Delaware have Little League, Babe Ruth League, Piedmont and now Cal Ripken League to chose from when they play ball.....hopefullly you have a different source to go to next season.....

Thanks so much for the input. I am wsick over this whole thing. We, as a family, have decided to play. My son said it best when he said, why should I give up my spot for a choice that some parents made. It kills me how kids can make better decisions then adults. This is horrible and going to be very tough on me. I would love to write a letter to Williamsport but I don't know the address and it probably wouldn't do any good. These two parents must feel horrible today and they will feel even worse when they know that others know. By the way Dead, this is the only league offered in our area. I can guarantee you that my son will never swing another bat in this town. Parents, this is fine example of why people should have to have licenses to have kids. Little League SUCKS!!!
