I dont want to beat a dead horse hear and I am ignorant when it comes to computers.....but just as info my business partner and I both are forum members so with the info I just read we would show up with the same address....I dont want anyone to think I/We are trying to deceive anyone.....the thought never occurred to me until i read the thread and War Dogs and Queens comments about how this could happen.....being just a football guy and being busy here in the office I havent been doing anything but popping into the forum on occasion since January and must have missed all the action that took place recently but if someone who has been involved or knows what has been going on with this I would love an update.....on second thought that would be beating a dead horse.....Never Mind(Radnor).....

Well I can tell you this just from what I know. We can Banned someone, but that does not stop them from going to another computer and sign up. We can block an IP number, but again does not stop them from going to another computer. There is one online service that we can not block IP number because the service is messed up and If you block that IP number you block 30 other posters, because they use station numbers not real IP number from poster's computer.

Every forum is full of Attention Whore's as DJ would call them. Most Forums have a couple of Crap Starters that never post anything useful but are right there to put in 2 cents when somebody wants to start something.

So with that said this is what I try to do:

1. When something gets out of line and has nothing to do with posting picks, sports related or an attack on someone. I close the thread up and start deleting stuff. Not trying to cover anything up, just trying to keep the peace.

2. When someone comes in new and starts posting Email address and website links. I edit them and banned them right away. Members that have been around for a while and slip up and post and email address, I edit it and email them a nice little warning.

I think that the Regular posters on this forum are smart enough to figure out who is who. Like I said before there maybe a couple of people out there with two sign up names. But as far as having someone post under a bunch of different names at the same IP number, I have only caught 2 people in the past 45 days. One was banned over in the NHL forum for starting a fight with his ownself, the other was a new person signing up twice.

Dead, the forum grew at the end of the NFL season and it was not for the better in my opinion. The family atmosphere was thrown out the window for more volume. Having more is not always better. I just hope that come NFL time things get back to normal. Send me an Email Dead, some how some way. LOL

Yeah guys, it used to be different. When I first came here there were not people like this. God when I came here and started posting, people did not know what the fuck to do lol.. However as Kevin told me, forums change from time to time and thats what they go through. First it was just people posting plays and not much talking, just the plays, then one change was people started talking about games etc.. now its just people coming in to destroy a forum because they think its funny. As I say, just ignore the people and the mods will take care of em.. I just get a good laugh at some of this shit.

Attention Whores will die out someday, then something new will come along.......

I sometimes forget that at 43 I am probably one of the older Forum contributers.....my 12 year old has a Belushi Poster from Animal House handing in his room.....we bought it for him on Ebay the night we watched the movie together for the first time....he immediately became a fan....had to tell him the whole story of Belushi and his untimely demise....what a loss....but what you gonna do.....as Neil Young would say....."took the needle and the damage done".....SNL was at its best in the beginning.....there have been some great casts but none, imo, can touch the orginal Not Ready For Prime Time Players!!
