Do most of you on this board pick your own picks or do you pay for a handicapping service like Edited by Queen?.......I knew someone on here posted most of his plays last year......just curious.....thanks in advance.

I don't bet very often, but I do follow college football closely.

As far as i am concerned i do not know of anyone who pays for picks on this forum. There is just no use to pay for picks. This forum is better than any pick you can pay for. Just stick around and get all the info possible. Since joining this forum i have cashed in big, and i see no reason for that to slow down.

DWD14 is right, this place is a great info tool. Once in a while, you will get someone post some plays and try to push his or her service, but the moderators are quick to edit any advertising. As for the rest of us. I am by no means the greatest capper in here, but with this forum I have done very well. There is a plethra of knowledge to be found here and it comes in handy when making your picks. When it comes time for football, watch and you will see who the hot hands are. Smooth, DJ, Queen, Top, Thor, Dead, Trey, Skins, to name a few. I have a checks system to make a play and I like to see where these guys are before making a final decision, unless I have that feeling that we all get from time to time.

Yes... spend your time reading through posts here, and save your hard earned cash to make wagers with, instead of throwing it away on a service....

Yeah, believe me when I say paying for picks is one of the biggest rip offs ever. You will do better off losing on your own. But if you pay attention to this forum, you have a good chance of coming out on top. Good Luck to everyone this season, and I for one, can't wait.

If you are a numbers guy,
for the 2 years i bet before coming to the forum i ended up paying my bookie at the end of the year. Not much but enough. As i stand right now i am up 59 units for the year. I am cashing in better than i had ever thought i would. And all the credit goes to these guys at the forum. Thanks everyone.

Just curious as to how you use this board to win consistently? Do you basically make your own decision after hearing other's various viewpoints and check the public betting or do you "tail" certain people on this board a lot of the time? Thanks again!

Personally I just form my own opinion on a game and then come to the forum to find out some input on the games. no person in the forum can make me completely change my mind on a game. I have only gotten more confidence in a play or been talked out of betting it. THe forum just provides so much insight to every game. I have tailed a few cappers at times but never blindly, i wont bet if i have a slight disagreement with them. I dont bet to bet, but i have a lot of respect for the cappers here and one of them has a strong feeling for a game i may tail.

Capping games is just like vegetable soup. You run around and grab whatever ingredients you think make it have a good taste and form an opinion based on those ingredients. The more goodies you throw in the pot the better shot you got of something coming out that tastes good.
